How things quickly change. They had to extend their homes, their jobs and school. Shay-Lee was proud of High Moon for adapting so easily and respectfully, but she did understand that it was very hard on everyone. She found less time for herself and more time dealing with the warriors, helping Adam train them, and it was not simple training any more. It was tough and many complained, but they had to be realistic. After what happened to Harvest Moon, they all needed to be ready to fight, even if it was a last minute thing.
