My Second Chance

Chapter - 18

The plane landed and we got off. I was about to grab my bag when a woman grabbed it.

"Allow me to carry it, Miss." I nodded and we left the airport. A limo was already waiting for us and we got in.

We got to our hotel and checked in. I kept messaging Jenny along the way about how my dress was coming along. She told me to not to worry about it and that she has it all under control. I just hope they don't make changes to the dress too much. I changed into my pajamas and went to bed. I'm tired as hell.

The next day, I changed into a white crop-top and ripped white jeans. I put on a white leader jacket and I put on white combat boots. I then let my hair down, wore white silk gloves, and put on some sunglasses. I did my makeup and put on sparkly red lipstick. I left my room and went downstairs and saw them already waiting for me. There are two of them waiting, but where is the third one? We left the hotel and got into a car and there she was, in the driver's seat. We drove for an hour and finally arrived at a hospital. We went inside and I saw her. I took off my glasses and walked up to her.

"Can I help you?" She asked with a sweet smile. I rolled my eyes.

"She's here for her light checkup." One of the women mentioned.

"Oh, please come with me." We went to the third floor of the hospital and entered the room. They were waiting outside of the room. "So it's truly you Fox. Looks like, no matter what, you will come back and kill. No wonder I can never get you out of my head." She said, touching my hand. I smiled at her and she put something over my mouth and nose and I was unconscious.

When I woke up, I saw her taking off her mask and looking at me. "Don't speak for a week and it will be alright. I can't wait to hear your voice once again, my goddess." She said with a smile. I nod at her.

We left the hospital and went on a shopping spree. We are women, shopping is in our nature. After we were done, we got in the car and I put on a mask. We arrived at one of the shops I own here and went in.

"Hello welcome, please tell me if you need any help with anything" A woman greeted us at the door.

"Hello, we are here to see the manager." One of the women said.

"Alright, please wait." She said as she went to the back of the store. I walked around the store and noticed some other brands hanging. I flicked my fingers and they came over. They too noticed it. Right on time, the manager came to us.

"Hello, how can I help you?"

"Why are there clothes that don't belong to the Diamond company?"

"Ah, well, in a few weeks this will be the Haren Family shop, so we are mixing the clothes for now and-"

"Who gave you that right?" She said, throwing the clothing on the ground. I stopped her from doing anything else. She bowed her head and apologized to me. I looked at him and smiled. I patted his shoulder and walked towards the back of the store.

"Huh? Miss, you cannot go there-"

"Why not? She owns this place, meet the new CEO of the Diamond company." She said as she walked past him.

"New CEO? I-I-" He stammered and dropped to his knees. I turned around and nodded at the girls.

"Sir, please get up and get your stuff. You no longer have any power over this place, you are now fired. You either buy something or get out." I looked and saw the workers looking at him. I clapped my hands and they escorted him out. I walked up to one of the workers and she gave me all the workers' information. I went through a few of them and fired three women and assigned a new manager.

"Miss, no, I can't!" She protested but I stopped her.

"Don't worry, I'll be here to help you out and help you get used to everything here. Our CEO has a good eye for people. The first thing we need to do is throw away all the Haren family's clothing." She nodded and we left everything to them.

The next day, we visited another shop and the same family was doing this. They have some nerve. Not only that family, but the manager in the shop was more arrogant. To the point where we had to put her down and kick her out. I once again assigned a new manager and it was quicker this time since there was a woman who was protesting with him every day about putting other companies' clothing here. So I chose her and she agreed to take up this opportunity and show her talent. I left one of the women there and on the last day we checked in on their progress and I was glad that everything was over. We got back and left the two women to help out there. When we got out of the airport, Jenny was already waiting for us.

The week is almost over and the ball is coming up. I'll take care of the Haren family and Alex. Both of them are businessmen and both of them will be there for sure.

She dropped me off at home and I went straight to the bathroom and showered. I then went to my room and unpacked everything. After that, I lay in bed and thought about all the paperwork that I'll need to do tomorrow. Also, to send more workers there to get everything organized, remodel everything, and some to work there. There's going to be a lot of work, but it's all going to pay off in the end.
