(Alexander's POV)
I sat in the moonlight garden, the cool night air brushing against my skin. The jasmine's scent lingered, trying to soothe the chaos in my chest, but it wasn’t working.
This place, which once gave me peace, now only reminded me of what was missing.
Eden.
I leaned forward, resting my elbows on my knees. My fingers ran over the rough stone of the bench. This had been her favorite spot.
She used to wait here for me after my late patrols. Wrapped in a shawl, her silver hair catching the moonlight.
