The phone disappeared into the fountain with a sickening splash. Ripples spread across the surface under the soft glow of the porch light. The water sparkled, but all I could see was my fury reflected back at me.
I snapped my head toward Alexander. My pulse roared in my ears like a winter storm.
“What in the Moon Goddess’ name is wrong with you?” My voice was sharp, cutting through the quiet night. I marched toward him, my fists clenched.
