I awoke with the sense of serenity within me. It was as if I received a gift. No matter what happened, Ian and I always will be. Oh, how I missed his face. His embrace in the dream felt so real, it was as if I could still feel his arms wrapped around me. I turned my head towards the window and saw that the evening sun had approached. I looked at the time on the clock. 5:15 p.m. “Oh s**t!”, I yelled at myself, jumping out of bed. I can’t believe I slept that long. I ran and jumped in the shower. I still had enough time to get ready. I guess I just slept so hard that my brain wasn’t working right.
