A dream. Something we all have; be it freedom, sanctum, or release all humans crave a dream. My father used to share stories of his dreams and in turn, I was inspired to dream of something bigger than my 6-year-old self, not letting my doubts linger, and my will to claim the title king. "Icarus honey are you awake, if you don't wake up soon you're gonna be late on your first day, and miss orientation!" a woman with mid-cut wavy hair black hair gold eyes that define her women like features yells upstairs "Huh!? Uhh y-yeah aunt may I'm up just give me -!" Icarus yells back frantically flying out of bed tripping over his bed covers that fell off the bed and knotted around his leg face planting into the ground {BANG} "Owww...a few minutes..." he finishes as he rubs the growing bump on his forehead Picking himself up tossing on his school uniform and shoes in a rush he takes a quick look at himself in the mirror adjusting himself to the fullest his pitch-black spiky hair and gold eyes " alright today's the day mom and dad I'll see you both later he says softly as he turns away from the two pictures on his bedside nightstand a smile never leaving his face as he makes his way downstairs. "K aunt may I'll be leaving now," Icarus says popping his head into the kitchen grabbing a piece of lightly toasted bread from the table, and running out the door "Okay have a good day" she yells but he is already a block away as he runs down the hill the wind brushing through his bed hair the school starting to come in view "Hey wait for me Icarus!" a cute petite girl with light brown hair and sky blue eyes runs up next to him as they slow their pass to keep up with each other "Morning Freya" Icarus nods "Are you ready for the first day of school?" Freya says smiling sweetly "Yep" ambition shown clearly in his eyes "I still can't believe we actually get to attend Excalibur high of magic" Freya say her cheeks tinting a pink color "Yeah well we're gonna be late if we don't hurry so let's go Freya" Icarus abruptly says grabbing Freya's hand pulling her with him as he runs towards the gate
