3 Caius and I left my grandparents with Rina and followed Matthew onto the street. The bright sun caressed us with its soft light as Matthew spun around and waved his arms at either end of the road. “This is the second street, and the first one is down there.” He waved in the direction of the beach. “It’s got all the shops and inns that the rich people stay at.” “The ones you were entertaining in the field?” Caius guessed. He shrugged. “Well, yeah. I put on a few shows every now and again. It pays a lot and costs me nothing.
