Alpha Jackson Jones writes a letter to his granddaughter Scarlett. At this time Scarlett was only 10 months old but he knew she was special, she wasent like everyone else in the family. He was the alpha of the Dark Moon Pack but not for long his sons didn't inherit the wolf gene. And neither did his son's son but his sons daughter was different she inherited something he couldnt quite figure out what. His pack was failing and he knew hed have to give up ownership to a new alpha luckily his best friends son was next in line. Matt Night "he would be a great alpha" Jackson thought knowing his pack would be in great hands. he planned to give this letter to him knowing when Scarlett was old enough hed get it to her in some way. He knew Scarlett was special and no one else in the family would be able to tell so he had to write in this letter what shed need to do and who to go to for answers. There was a school in which the pack and other packs around the world put all the children in in their school years from age 17 to 21 to learn and to train their abilities. when he was done writing the letter he gave it to Matt Night and told him he wanted him to give this letter to his granddaughter 2 months before her 17th birthday and to get her to that school. Matt accepted the letter keeping it in a safe place and agreed to the final wishes of the alpha before he transferred ownership of the pack to him making him alpha and his wife the new luna. 16 years later he gave the letter to his son telling him to find Scarlett and to show her the way to the academy. So his son the future alpha of the Dark Moon pack did his research and found her living with her mother and made his way there in a 3 hour flight and 2 hr drive. At the door he knocked awaiting an answer with the letter in his hand and the speech he memorized in his mind.
