Chapter 9Dio reduced his speed to 3 knots as he entered the port of Saint-François. He had just finished a dive at the Pointe des Châteaux headland, located at the eastern end of the island. The divers lugged their equipment out of the Zodiac and began to rinse everything. Sylvie, the diving instructor who was on duty at the club, went out onto the harbor to speak to Dio.
‘How was the outing?’
‘Great,’ answered Dio. ‘We even dived with some dolphins.’
‘No kidding?’
‘I can assure you, they stayed with us for half an hour, we think it was because of the girl over there,’ Dio said, pointing to a female diver.
‘Why?’ asked Sylvie.
‘Probably because of the yellow of her diving suit. And what about you, anything new?’
