Childhood Dreams Part 1

“Julius. Julius Chrome. Why have you come for me? Is it about that time? I already told you that it was an accident. Are you still hung up on that incident?’ Jonathan asked with a calm tone as the latter’s lackeys surround him like mobs. “Incident? You call that incident after I lost my left eye? Are you taking me for a fool? I saw you pulled the trigger that time so don’t ever try to lie to me. Otherwise I will have to do what I don’t really want to do to you.” His words held no meaning for Jonathan that just wants to relax after aa very eventful day so he just let it out his other ear. Seeing that Jonathan has no plans of listening to him talking let alone apologize for his mistake, Julius’ immobilize and try to subdue Jonathan. “I don’t really want to do this but you leave me no choice. Go get him boys!” “I don’t like the way you talk to the boss earlier so this is retaliation-!” before he could do anything, Jonathan took the initiative and slams the bottle of beer that was handed to him a moment ago and sent the mob sleeping in an instant, this display of indecisive attack leaves the other mobs stunned but to Jonathan this is nothing to be surprised about since he had done some things that are far more extreme than this. “This idiots. Is this their first time fighting? Did they really think that because they are more in numbers it guarantee their winning? What novices!” he thinks to himself as he beats up another mob while still in the daze. THUD! “You should have brought at least someone that is able to fight and not get surprised about every damn thing!” he suggested to Julius who immediately evade Jonathan’s attack. Despite being the ones that should be getting relief, he is more capable of pulling himself back to his senses rather than the ones that he brought with him. “What in the world is this? I thought he is not better than me in fighting!? Was it really an incident?” he asks this himself and not long after, Jonathan’s fist plunge on to his chest, knocking him down instantly without much resistance. “What in the world is this? I just turned around and everything is over? You really like fighting that much huh? I guess having you to fight with some thugs for years has resulted to you being that.” His partner mumbled as he tidy his clothes, patting all of those broken glass from his clothes. “Let’s leave, I don’t think we can relax in a place that is about to be swarmed by his men or the police.” Jonathan and his partner quickly leaves the pub and leaves his payment for their drinks. “What in the world is wrong with that guy?” the waitress thinks to herself as she watches Jonathan leave the pub with everything a mess. “Now that it is this late. I think I will have to go back to my place. I think I can rest there peacefully than any of this places can offer. ‘Home sweet home’ as they say. Just do what I suggested you to do and lay low for a while. Enjoy some things too!” They part ways in front of the station where his partner always take his train back to his house. “This bastard. We have known each other for a long time now but I still don’t have any idea what he does for a living nor if he has any family. I wanted to ask him that for a long time but could not find any chance. Maybe I will get a chance soon.” He said to himself as he walks away from the station and takes a cab on his way back home. CHAK! “’Home sweet home’ huh? That must be for you but as for me. There is nothing for me to return to.” He opens the lights of his house and reveals a tidy to the point that it seems like no one is living in. He took a glass and takes out a box of milk from the fridge and brings them inside his room, whereas it is the opposite of everything that is in the living room. The wall of his room is covered in photos of heroes that he plans to kill, not only that, all the information about the heroes are there as well. It is a big collection of all the heroes that he is going to target in the future. “This is the only place that is giving me peace. The thoughts of killing them. Oh how I want to crush those bodies of all of you.” He said to himself as he cross out the hero that he took down earlier that day. “I wonder how it all started. It has been a long time now that I don’t really remember the complete details. What a complete irony. Back in the day I used to like them a lot and now I just want to kill them. At least, that is the only thing that I remember in the past.” It all started when he is still in elementary, heroes are well known since then and all of the children are aspiring to be heroes when they grow up as well. But amongst all of them, there is someone that doesn’t only want to be the best hero but the one that will save everyone from danger. Jonathan (7 years old). “When I grow up I want to be a hero that will help everyone. I will be a great example that everyone will not forget!” young Jonathan boldly declares in front of his classmates.
