★CHAPTER 1★ ALEX MANSION** The few maids in the dining room lined up professionally, neatly dressed in their uniforms. Two maids were serving Alex and they tried their best not to make the slightest mistake or else their job would take the risk. He sat legally on the chair, an expressionless look on his face. They finished serving him and they stepped away a bit from the table, they folded their hands, watching as he took the cutleries and started eating. They dare not leave until he is done eating up. That's the solid rule for all of them. He made no expression whether the food was good or not, he kept eating while the maids watched on. Some of the maids were shaking nervously on their spot but they did not dare to show their nervousness. Alex suddenly dropped the cutlery and stood up, pushing the chair behind him. "You all can leave" He said. The maids bowed at once and walked out of the dining room leaving only the two maids who served him earlier. He left the dining room and they started clearing the table. He walked upstairs and immediately he entered his room, a guard followed him behind. "Your suit is ready" The guard bowed. Without giving him a reply but the maid knew what to do next. Alex sat down and he started first with his hair, she trimmed it with the brush and styled it just as he wanted it. "You look so handsome" The maid told him after finishing up with his hair. "Get out" Alex said with a stern look. The maid bowed and walked out immediately. Even with the stern look and cold aura around him he still remains handsome and gorgeous, with his perfect masculine features. It took him forty minutes to dress up, a grey silky suit with many designs, he is rocking fire in it. He walked out of the room and immediately he got out, his secretary was already waiting for him. "What are you doing here?" He asked straight up. "You didn't check your phone?" Lydia asked. "And what is with me checking my phone?" He asked. "You are having a shoot today with magazine tech by 9" Lydia replied. "What is the time now?" Alex asked. "20 minutes to 9" Lydia replied. "I'm having a meeting with my dad, so postponed the shoot" Alex said. "But sir the agency.... The guard opened the door and Alex entered the car before Lydia could wrap up her statement. The car drove out immediately and Alex heaved. "How the hell do these agencies keep up with him, hope I won't die one day, his ego is too much" Lydia muttered and got in her car. The beauty of her steps alone glorified the stairs as her shining expensive black shoes blessed it as she walked downstairs. Her captivating beautiful face held an addictive smile and one of her hands held her gown as he got to the living room. She lives alone with no maid, it's surprising that she loves doing everything herself. She can cook, clean the mansion up despite the fact that her father was one of the richest man in the whole city she never got a maid for herself to do the cleaning. She got a call from her father to meet the family castle and she's s going there right away before going to the company. Looking for a simple and kind creature, Carissa is the one. Her workers love her so much, she's always kind and friendly with them. Immediately she stepped out of the mansion, her maids started greeting her. "Good morning ma" Their voices came. "Morning to you all" She replied with a smile and a maid opened the door sharply. She entered the Lambo and the door was closed back. The next that was heard was the sound of the Lambo leaving the mansion. The door opened and Alex came out of the car, he held his briefcase as she started walking inside, sparing no one a glance till he got to the living room where the family was already waiting, his two elder brothers and his parents. "Dad, mum" He greeted and sat down. "We are invisible right?" The eldest son asked. "I can decide to term you both invisible right? What is up with that?" He rolled eyes rudely. "Dad... "Not now Dave" Chairman Henley cut him off. "Dad can you go straight to the point, I postponed a shoot to be here" Alex said. "Manners" Chairwoman Henley scolded. "Whatever" Alex rolled eyes. "You are getting married tomorrow and your suit is ready, you will be checking it out today, 4pm" Chairman Henley said. "What!!! Wait, you are joking right?" Alex stood. "Does he look like a joker? You are getting married tomorrow Alex" Iris said. "What?" His eyes widened. "You are getting married to Carissa Maynard" Chairman said and the length of her wide eyes increased. He started laughing immediately, moving from a spot to another before stopping. "You guys must be joking seriously, I'm not in for this prank, how could you guys planned a darn marriage without my knowledge and not only that with the woman I hate so much, I'm not marrying any f**king Carissa" He shot. "We are out of here dad" His two brothers stood up and walked out. "You don't have a choice here, it's either you do it or you will lose everything" Elena said. "Mum, you are threatening me" She shouted. "Try it and you will be step down as the CEO of Vinance holdings LLC, your brothers hate you because of that position but we gave it to you, now it's your choice" Chairman said and Alex stood speechless, he so much value that position, running his father's biggest company while his brothers runs the sub, he can't allow them to take over, he is always the perfect one. He has only one option and that is to accept it. "Giodana spose 4pm to check out your suit" Chairman said and started walking upstairs with Elena. "F**k everyone, argh!!" He screamed, scattering his hair. Maya was flirting with a guard when Levi got in, he frowned and walked there. She's 24 and the only player in the family, she's cool and not cocky and Levi he's 21, the last born of the family, he is cute and nice but also feisty when step on. "You can leave" He said sternly and the maid scurried away. He faced Maya. "Don't you get tired of playing around with these guards?" He asked. "It's not my fault, my face kept attracting them to me. I'm the honey and they are the bees, yunno" She winked and Levi scoffed. "Carissa not here yet?" Levi asked. "That p*ssy is always late" She replied. "That's our elder sister, watch your mouth" Levi yelled. "She's s my bestie and sister too so cut it off, I wonder what the old man called the meeting for, I hope it's something reasonable" She said and he took the cup from him. "Hey that's my drink" She said but he turned and started walking away. At the same time Carissa came in and her eyes moved brightly. "Beauty" She smiled. "The name sounds so cute that sometimes I wish to date you" Levi said and she smiled. "How are you?" She smiled. "Good, WBU?" She asked and she was about to reply when Princess get there. "P*ssy" She muttered, she's holding another cup. "I hate you" Levi said and left them. "Princess got sick yesterday" Maya said. Apart from Carissa and Maya being sisters they are also best friends, so inseparable and Princess is their friend too. "I will see her later" Carissa said. "Where's father?" "You all are already here" President Maynard came downstairs with Iris. "Dad, mum" Levi and Alex chorused. "Morning, let's sit" They replied. "Mum, dad" Maya smiled. They smiled at her. "The reason I called this gathering is this, Carissa" President called. "Yes dad" "You are getting married tomorrow" He broke the news and all eyes widened. "What!!" Carissa gasped standing. "Sit down" Iris snapped and Carissa sat back. "Your suit is ready" "What the hell is the meaning of this? An arranged marriage, in this era?" Maya shouted. "And you guys are just notifying her just now, the f**king wedding is tomorrow?" Levi flared up. "You guys planned everything, I'm 27 and not a kid dad!!" Carissa shouted. "We don't have to notify you before making any decision concerning you, you are my daughter and we have the right to make the decision... "She's not a toddler" Maya cut her off. "Shut up, this is the best for her" "You don't care about your children do you?" Levi asked. "Who's he?" Alex asked gently. "Alex Henley" President replied. "What!! That arrogant rude being,no way" Maya said hatefully. "Of all guys it has to be that brat, no way, he can't marry my sister" "Levi" Iris snapped angrily. Alex had a calm look on his face as heard the person he would be getting married to. "You're not saying anything p*ssy" Levi said. Carissa looked at everyone and the words that came out from his mouth shocked Levi and Maya but it left Henley and Iris happy. "I accept" She said gently. "What!! Carissa!!!" Maya and Levi gasped shockingly. The moment Alex got into the company, all the staff employed extra seriousness. A single mistake and you are gone. Some of the workers started hiding from him but the unlucky ones had to wait for him to pass. He was having an angry and sour face on him already stern face and the dangerous aura was already making everyone scared of him without him saying a word. Lydia was behind her, checking her tap. Despite what everyone was avoiding an unlucky woman bumped into Alex and everyone gasped including Lydia. "Ma I'm...... A hot slap visited her face before she could land. "I'm sorry.." Another blinding slap landed on her face again, she felt the hard sting and she blinked her tears. She went on her knees immediately. "B*tch" Alex raised his boot to her face and she spranged to the floor with a bleeding mouth, her forehead swelling up immediately as the boot got her forehead. "Throw her out, she is fired" Alex said. "Yes ma" Lydia said and called two guards who took her away. "What are you looking at?" Alex snapped and the staff started rushing away. Another unlucky staff member tripped and fell on his face. "He's fired, throw him out" Alex said emotionlessly. "Yes ma" The guards took him out immediately. Alex walked into her office and Lydia followed. "What is it?" He asked. "The board members are already... "Get out " "Ma... "Get out or do you want another replacement?" Alex yelled furiously. "No ma" Lydia quickly rushed out. "Ahhh, Carissa, why her?" "I'm going to marry who I hate her sight so much, I pray she should have an accident and just die" The fact that he's going to start living with him is making him more mad... F**k his parents... He's doing this to retain his position and his fame. He took his phone and typed Carissa Maynard on Google, her profile was displayed immediately. "She's the ugliest man in Italy, I wonder what men see in her, they must be having deficiency of good nutrients in their eyes to say she's pretty... Her face is making me mad....I hate you" He snapped and dropped his phone. <GIODANA SPOSE ~ 4PM** Alex was fuming on the couch as he waited for the arrival of Carissa. He got here and he has been waiting for good ten minutes. What the f**k is taking her so long? "Where is Carissa? She's wasting my time" Alex snapped and an attendant ran to him. "She's just arrived" He bowed. ?️Wow my eyes are blessed today ?️ Carissa ?️How can she be this beautiful Murmurs filled the room as Carissa stepped in there, her usual style, her hands held her flowing long gown. She smiled when she saw him sitting legally on the couch. "You keep me waiting for f**king ten minutes" he snapped. "I'm sorry Alex" She smiled politely and he rolled eyes at her with a glare. "Are you smiling at my face to show your ugliness or what?" "What?" "I hate your smile, so keep it away" "Sir, ma'am, please follow us" An attendant said. Alex stood up and together with Carissa they went inside the elevator which took them to another elevator. "You go first sir" Alex looked straight and went in first. Thirty minutes later, Alex came out and the ladies started drooling again. ?️ He's so cute in the suit. ?️I love his tallness Carissa smiled and Lydia scoffed, standing. She started walking in but she stopped beside him. She gave him a warm smile and walked into the room. Twenty minutes later, Carissa came out in a long expensive gown that was sweeping the floor behind her. Alex already changed back to his original clothes. She had a beautiful smile on her face, she's really beautiful and shapely carved. Carissa changed back to her clothes and walked up to Alex. "Alex" "What?" He snapped, throwing her hand away. "Why the hostility? We haven't met before... "Are you that dumb? Can't you see that I hate your existence? Don't say a word or touch me with those cursed hands again or I will punch" He said seriously and flaunted his hands and his wrist watch fell on the ground. He started leaving but Carissa took the watch and ran after him. "Alex wait" She got to him and her hand mistakenly touched him. Alex turned to her angrily and the next thing she felt was a blow on her nose. He punched her directly on the nose and she fell to the ground with a bleeding nose. The attendant around eyes widened shockingly.
