Chapter One

I'll introduce myself as it's the pleasant thing to do... I'm Elizabeth Alderson, I'm originally from the viking era and I was turned into a vampire over 1,000 years ago.

The vikings stormed and destroyed my homeland in the North of England... My father was killed and my mother married off to a warrior, where she gave me 2 younger sisters and a brother. My step-father was cruel to me and only me, I was seen as vermin... I ran away at the age of 16 to escape the fate of being a quiet and well behaved slave wife out of fear.

I ended up in what you know as London now and was later turned in a vampire at the age of 21... At that time I wished for death, I hated what I became until I was able to destroy those who had ruined everything I held dear... Saving my step-father for last.
