Disappointment

Benji(Sierra Dad) POV

Today is Sierra first day at school she left with Sam as I had work with Dani. I was sitting in the kitchen with Dani when I heard heavy footsteps looks like they returned from school I turned around to get face to face with a panicked Sam and his worried friends I raised an eyebrow at them as in questioning them that what happened.

"Uncle Sierra brought a boy from school and is taking him to her room and looks like she knows him", Sam said in panic looks like he is worried but how dare that boy go in my daughter's room I stood up and left in haste once I told her with a no argument expression she nodded and took him to the living room.

After an hour when all the kids were sitting in the kitchen and having lunch Anna told Sam to call Sierra he nodded and left but I decided to go behind him I saw him standing near the couch with his fist clenched and when I saw the seen it made me mad that boys head was on Sierra lap and her hand on his head she was patting it even when she was half asleep suddenly that boy opened his eyes and his eyes widened when he saw us standing before them he slowly stood up when I motioned him to go to the kitchen he left I was going after him when in the corner of my eye I saw Sam putting a blanket over Sierra caressing her hair and he did something I never thought he would do he kissed on her forehead with so much affection which made me believe that he has something for Sierra.

When I entered the kitchen I saw the boy standing there like a soldier while everyone was looking at him.

"So boy what do you want?", I asked him without beating around the bush.

"My name is Ken sir and I don't want anything", he said looking me in the eye.

"What were you doing with sierra my daughter?", I said to him keeping our eye to eye contact.

"Sir I was not doing anything she is someone very very special to me", he said and that was enough for me to lose my temper.

"Boys tie him to the chair", I ordered and they obliged but what was weird is that he didn't even protest when they were tying him he was somewhat calm.

"Let me ask you a question Ken how do you know Sierra because the way you hugged her told it that you know her for quite a time", this was asked by Sam and oh boy he looks mad. But what he said made another question to rise in my mind.

"You know her for how much time?", this was asked by Dani who looked interested but this was not the question in my mind but he answered it.

"I know her for seven years I met her when we were ten", he answered looking at me maybe waiting for me to ask him a question and I asked what came first in my mind.

"Did you have any kind of physical relationship with her?", and everyone turned to look at me like I am crazy where I ignored them and kept looking at Ken while what he did next made us all mad he just started laughing loudly.

This angered Sam and he punched him and kept on punching him to the point where Ron and Seth had to hold him back.

"Are you serious? or do you even take her as your daughter?", he said to me after Sam was separated from him his statement just made me mad.

"What do you mean by take her as your daughter? she is My Daughter only mine", I asked him through gritted teeth and emphasizing My Daughter to make it clear to everyone who even has any doubts against it.

"If you took her as your daughter you would know that she is a virgin and maybe my poor soul sister will always stay a virgin her whole life and she might just never get married", he said suddenly looking sad and wait did he say soul sister when did this happen.

"What do you mean by that?", Sam asked suddenly when he didn't answer I asked him again.

"What do you mean by that statement?", I asked him again but he didn't answer.

"Tell me I am her father I have the right to know why my daughter wont get married", I asked him again and maybe this time I sounded desperate because each and every soul in the room was looking at me with sad expressions.

"Because she is afraid", he said looking lost maybe he didn't realized that he said something because his eyes widened and shut his mouth immediately.

"Afraid of what?", this time it was Anna who questioned him  he just kept shaking his head and kept on saying nothing afraid of nothing she cant get weak she has to remain strong because her fight is not over and maybe I was not the only one who heard it because everyone was looking at each other but I felt a pair of eyes of me I lifted my head and saw that Dani was looking at me and through his eyes I understood that he is telling me that the boy knows something that I don't know.

I know I should wait for Sierra to tell me herself but I cant help it when there is someone who knows something about my daughter I want to find out.

For next several hours we kept beating him and asking questions but he would just shake his head and tell me that its not his place to tell when the right time comes Sierra will tell me I didn't realized that we kept interrogating him in the kitchen that was our mistake.

We heard Fires furious voice form the doorway.

"What do you think you all are doing?", we all turned towards her no one answered her after a while she told Ken to free himself and he did it in a few seconds and moved towards Sierra and I was shocked because if he could free himself why didn't he free himself all this while.

Before leaving with Ken she looked at me and told me she is disappointed which broke my heart my daughter is disappointed in me.

"He was respecting you" Dani said looking at me while I was confused who was respecting me as if reading my mind Dani continued "Ken he didn't do anything he was respecting you because you are his soul sisters father", I nodded my head closed my eyes promising myself that I will make her proud of me again and I will also ask her myself that what is she afraid of.

Sierra POV

I left the house immediately with Ken and took him to my apartment we settled on the couches and I brought first aid kit and started his first aid.

"Now when I am back I want to see you fight for yourself have forgotten your promise?", I asked him seriously while he just kept his head bend and mumbled a small No,

"What No? you clearly have forgotten your promise because if you would have not been getting bullied for I don't know how long", I told him truthfully while applying some ointment on his bruises.

"I remember my promise that I have to fight to live but I didn't had anything to fight for I was fighting before because I had you as a reason to keep fighting to help you to protect you but when you left I had nothing to fight for but I didn't completely give up", He said may be he was depressed when I left.

"You had a reason you had to fight to live to protect other victims like you from psych people   because not everyone can get saved by a ten year old girl who kills a captor that r***d boys for fun you were rescued that doesn't mean that there are no more people like you who need help and I told you that I had to leave but you shouldn't have gave up you disappointed me", I told him looking in his eyes where he just lowered them.

"I am sorry and I promise that I will fight now and protect you and any other person who needs me", he told me.

"Good now tell me where do you live?", I questioned him.

"In a house where no one respects me or loves me I just wish I could just leave that house", he answered me while looking at his lap.

"Then live here make it your house but don't let an outsider in you know what I hide in my houses", I told him while he nodded like a child who got his favorite lollipop and the he frowns again.

"But I have to find a job so that I could pay for my needs", he said while frowning and after thinking for a while I got the perfect idea.

 "I have the best job for you", I said grinning to which he asked me.

"What do you have in your mind?"

"You have to be the face for the company that I am handling through mails", I told him while he looked at me in horror.

"No way I am doing it you are handling it for two years even though you were just fifteen but you handled it pretty well even without ever showing your face and you earned that company when you saved that old mans grand daughter from getting sold he gave it to you as a gratitude", He said

"I know but I want you to be its face tell them that you are send by the owner you just have to bring files to me", I told him and waited because I can see that he is considering and he slowly nodded his head agreeing with me.

"Great I will contact them tell them that you are coming and arrange a press conference for you", we talked for a while then I left for home because no matter what dad thought of me and I love him a lot.
