Chapter 7

They threw her into a room and locked the door. She was alone; they didn't put anyone else in there with her before they took off. She could feel them leaving the planet. Then they moved quickly into space.  Once they slowed down she could feel them land but knew it wasn't on a planet. The door unlocked and a guard came in. She wasn't sure if it was the same one who put her in there or not. He picked her up and threw her over his shoulder again. She didn't thrash around. There was no place for her. She was on a large ship somewhere in space.  She watched everything as she was taken from a large landing deck to many different halls. All the other armored men looked at her as they passed by and tapped the other around them to see her. Once they were in a shaft he set her down, but kept a tight grip on her. The door opened and he pushed her into another hall. There was one door at the end. Then the door opened Ophelia knew she was a prisoner. He pushed her into a cell. She turned around to watch the door be locked. She looked around and the cell was covered in dirt. She thought as long as it was just dirty and crappy food it couldn't be as bad as Direlili. Being his and told to be someone you weren't was the worst thing to her. She looked at the bed that was now hers and the dress she wore. Adrik had given it to her and she wasn't sure if she wanted to ruin it, but she also didn't know if they would strip her of everything. She didn't want to ruin the dress and decided to stand for as long as she could before she had to sit down. Hours past and she was starting to get tired. She was on the verge to give up on the beautiful dress. "Captain Tabnam would like to see you. Come to the bars." A guard said. She turned around but didn't go to the bars. She was terrified of the idea that she was captured by Tabnam. "I said come to the bars." He growled. "No need to talk to you our-." He stopped to look at her. His voice was electronic. He was the one who watched her from the shadows. "Beautiful new addition. Come here pet." Pet Ophelia was fuming hearing a man call her pet. "Watch what you say." She said to him in anger. A snap of Tabnam's gloved fingers and the door was opened. He stepped inside and grabbed her. "Listen here, you are on my ship and I will not tolerate anyone who talks like that to me." "Maybe get a girl who is willing to fall at your feet because I won't do it." She was so angry she didn't care what happened at that point. She was taken away from the one person who knew her for the second time. He didn't say a word he tightened his grasp on her and pulled her out of the cell. He pulled her out of the room and into the shaft to go up. The door opened and he pulled her out and down a few halls until they reached the door he wanted. He threw her into the room and locked the door. She caught herself on the edge of the bed. Panic replaced the anger she had. "Strip." He said and crossed his arms. "No." She crossed her arms. He moved away from her into a closet and pulled out new clothes. "I said strip." He threw the clothes on the bed. He sat down in the chair to watch her. She stood there for a second, but decided that to save the dress from any harm she would take it off. The dress was off and she was about to put on the other clothes. "No." He said and she stopped. "The necklace." He put out his hand. "No, it's the only thing I have left of him. I'm not losing it like I did him." She put her hand protectively over it. He made a sigh. "You can keep it."  She reached for the clothes again and he did not stop her. She stood there. "What is your name pet?" He asked her. She wasn't sure if she wanted to hear her name through the electronic box. She lied and shortened it. "Lia." "Okay Lia. Welcome to your room pet."  "My what?" Her jaw dropped in shock. He was giving her a room to stay in and not keeping her locked in a cell. Did he trust her not to escape because she thought of how she could when his back was turned and get back to Adrik. "Someone of your stature I'm sure wouldn't want to be locked up in a dirty cell." He said as he got up to walk over to her. "I-." She couldn't find the words as he got closer to her. He touched her necklace but she swatted his hand away. "Why is this so important to you? All those men are the same. They enjoy forcing women to take them." He said. "Not Adrik." He defended him. "You really don't think he would do that when all the men from the planet do." He moved his hand back over the necklace and caught her hand when she tried to swat it away again. "Because I know him. He would never be able to do something like that. Especially when he could have the times he had me alone. Leo on the other hand I can see him doing that. He is evil." She looked at Tabnam. "What about me? Do you think I am evil?" She didn't answer that question because she wasn't fully sure. He forced her to strip but did not touch her until now with the necklace. He started to laugh. She looked at him confused. He let her go and moved out of the room. When the door closed she felt the weight on her chest that was keeping her from breathing be removed. She was intrigued by him, but also scared of him. She felt he could do what he wanted with her and she would have to compel. That scared her the most, a man who wasn't Adrik touching her.
