It was already time for dinner and Jennie picked up Jungkook and Lisa from their rooms. Jennie could feel the familiar tension between Jungkook and Lisa, they had been like this every time Jennie would pick them up and she couldn’t do anything about it. And Jennie hadn’t told anyone except for Lisa what Jungkook did to her. Jennie got scared of his warning and maybe she would just wait for the right timing for her to tell Mr. Choi about the incident. As they arrived at the cafeteria, they sat at their usual spot and waited for Jennie to get their food. As Jennie was out of sight, Lisa inhaled sharply through her nose before she spoke. “You asshole.” Lisa said, enough for Jungkook to hear. The latter glanced at her. “Who are you talking to?” Jungkook asked. “You’re the only asshole in this room.” Lisa said as she gave Jungkook a death glare. “Don’t act like you’re innocent because we all know you’re not.” Lisa said and Jungkook scoffed. “My behavior doesn’t concern you.” “If you lay your nasty fingers on Jennie again, you’ll regret it.” Lisa warned, her knuckles beginning to turn white from clenching her fist, not minding her healing hand was bleeding again from clenching hard. “So, she told you what happened huh?” Jungkook snickered, making Lisa’s blood boil in rage. “I see, you’re close to her.” “We are.” Lisa confirmed, still glaring at Jungkook. “You know what, I see myself in you.” “We are nothing alike.” “Really? You and I are both possessive, kind of aggressive too maybe. Or maybe it’s just me?” Jungkook chuckled as he shook his head. Lisa averted her gaze as she relaxed her hands. Jungkook was right, they were the same. The only difference was Jennie didn’t like Jungkook. And thinking how they were the same in a way, it made Lisa realize what if Jennie would hate her as well if she kept being possessive of her? “When I finally get out of here, I’ll take her with me.” Jungkook said and Lisa looked at him again, her eyebrows knitted together. “She will never come with you.” “I’ll make her mine.” Jungkook said, a smirk playing on his lips. “You will never make her yours because she’s mine. Stay in your lane or you’ll get hurt.” “Funny and too bad for you. I got my sleeves tied behind me.” Jungkook said and Jennie arrived with two trays in either hands. Jennie gave the other tray to Lisa so she could start eating as well, while Jennie sat across Jungkook and started feeding him. Jungkook secretly glanced at Lisa as he smirked and the latter noticed that. Lisa shut her eyes to calm herself, and then she met Jennie’s eyes when she opened them. The latter sadly smiled at her and Lisa just sighed as she began eating. After feeding the two and returning them to their respective rooms, Jennie went to their office to do some paperworks. While writing on the paper, she got startled when someone put an iced americano on her table. Jennie looked up to see Jisoo. “Working hard?” Jisoo said as she smiled. “Not really.” Jennie chuckled. “Thanks for this.” She said as she lightly tapped the iced americano’s lid. “It’s nothing.” Jisoo dismissively said and she then furrowed her brows. “Whoa wait, what is that on your neck?” Jisoo said as she gave Jennie a meaningful look. The latter quickly covered her neck with her hand even though it was too late. “It’s not what you think.” Jennie said as she sighed. “Then explain yourself.” Jisoo said her lips curved into a playful smirk. “Jungkook did this to me.” “What?! What about Lisa? I thought—” “He molested me.” Jennie quietly said and Jisoo was taken a back. “Oh gosh, I’m sorry to hear that.” Jisoo bit her lip. “You should definitely report that to Mr. Choi.” “I know, but...” “What?” “Jungkook warned me that if I tell Mr. Choi about what he did, he assured me I wouldn’t like what would happen.” Jennie sighed. “Aish, obsessive asshole.” Jisoo mumbled under her breath. “But you should really report that to Mr. Choi before it gets too far. And don’t worry, we’re here to back you up.” Jisoo sympathetically smiled. “Thanks Jisoo.” After thinking whether Jennie should report to Mr. Choi or not, she finally made up her mind and went to Mr. Choi’s office. Jennie was thankful for Mr. Choi being considerate. She didn’t have to nurse Jungkook anymore. It was a relief not just for Jennie but also for Lisa. Finally, more time with Jennie. But it didn’t end there. Every time it was time to eat at the cafeteria, Jungkook would send glares at Jennie and Lisa would send him back a fiery stares. *** Since Lisa still had traumatic experience at the mini garden, Jennie decided to do something to help Lisa with it. “Do you want to take a walk?” Jennie asked as she was changing the bandage on Lisa’s hand. “Where to this time?” Lisa asked. “Mini garden?” Jennie suggested. “You know I don’t want to be there and it’s already dark.” “I know, bad and traumatic experience. But what do you say, we’ll change those bad and traumatic with good ones?” Jennie looked up and flashed a smile. “And so what if it’s already dark? I haven’t seen the mini garden at night.” “But I can’t promise I can give you a good company.” “Don’t say that, you know I always enjoy being with you even when we’re just sitting and not even talking.” Jennie chuckled and she closed the first aid kit and then she stood up. “Shall we?” She said as she offered her hand. “Alright. Fine.” Lisa sighed as she took Jennie’s hand. They went out of the room, their hands intertwined. Jennie glanced at Lisa and gave her a sweet smile and the latter gave her back a small smile. They sat on the bench where they first spent Lisa’s ‘freedom day’. “Hmm, let’s see what we should do today.” Jennie said with a thoughtful expression. “Do you have anything in mind?” Lisa shook her head. “Wait, don’t cry again okay.” Jennie lightheartedly laughed and Lisa smiled. “I won’t, don’t worry.” Lisa assured Jennie and the latter took a deep breath. “It’s more peaceful here at night.” “Yeah.” Lisa agreed. Jennie looked around and she saw a pile of wildflowers across them. Jennie had an idea and she looked at Lisa with a smile. “Wait here.” Jennie said. “Where are you going?” Lisa asked. “I’ll be right back.” Jennie flashed her gummy smile before going to the pile of wildflowers to pick a handful. She then went back to Lisa as the latter gave her a confused look. Jennie gave Lisa the flowers. “These flowers kind of resembles you.” Jennie said and Lisa accepted the flowers. “Why?” Lisa chuckled and Jennie sat beside her. “Well, don’t expect me to have an awesome explanation for that but I think those flowers are like you; they stand out in a field of grass, not everyone thinks they’re special but they’re special in a way. They grow on their own, they live independently, and I think you’re independent in a way despite having someone to take care of you.” Jennie glanced at Lisa as she smiled. “And you stand out the most here. And you’re not just ‘wild’ but you’re beautiful as well.” Jennie chuckled. “Out of all those sophisticated flowers, I’d still pick you. You’re my wildflower.” “Don’t expect an awesome explanation my ass.” Lisa chuckled. “And you think I’m wild?” “Well, maybe I meant to say scary but it doesn’t fit with the wildflower.” Jennie shrugged. “I love these, thank you.” Lisa smiled. “You know what?” Jennie snatched the flowers from Lisa. “I’ll make you a flower crown.” Jennie grinned. Lisa just watched Jennie in silence as the latter busied herself with the flowers. Jennie showed her habit of biting her lip again and Lisa got mesmerized by her effortless beauty. How could someone be so beautiful without even trying? In Lisa’s eyes, Jennie was the epitome of perfection. When Jennie was done with the flower crown, she met Lisa’s eyes and she let out a soft laugh. “If staring could melt, I would’ve been like a melting ice cream in a hot sunny day.” Jennie giggled. “I’m sorry, I can’t help it.” Lisa smiled. “You really should smile a lot more, it suits you.” Jennie said as she brushed her thumb on Lisa’s cheek. “Now hold still, I’ll put this on top of your head.” Jennie said and Lisa lowered her head so Jennie could put the flower crown on her head. But before Jennie could lay the crown on Lisa’s head, Jennie felt someone’s arm around her neck and she found herself being dragged away from Lisa. “L-Lisa!” Jennie chocked as she reached for her and Lisa looked at her with a shocked expression and she then looked at the person who was dragging her and threw a glare. “Let me go!” Jennie yelled as she tried to move the arm away from her neck. “I told you, you won’t like what would happen next.” Jennie’s body froze when she heard Jungkook’s voice.
