THE LAUGHTER
The warm morning sunlight filtered through the leaves of the old tree, casting dappled shadows on the green field below. Tala sat beneath its branches, taking in the serene atmosphere. This was her favorite spot, a wishing tree where her family would write notes and hang them on the branches, hoping for good fortune and happiness.
As she sat there, admiring the beauty around her, Tala heard the sound of laughter. It was her brother, Natal. , "What are you doing, Tala ? Mom is calling you for food!"
Tala ,chuckled, "I'm coming, I'm coming!, Tala we have to hurry up, we have veggies and potatoes to harvest today. Shouted Natal
Tala playfully rolled her eyes, "okay okay , am coming
As they walked towards home, Natal playfully held Tala's neck under his armpit, and she rubbed her hand on his head. They were interrupted by their mother's call, "Natal, Tala come quickly! food is ready she shouted "
The siblings ran towards their mother, laughing and chatting. As they sat down for breakfast, the table was filled with delicious food, and they shared stories and jokes. Their father smiled, "Natal you can take a break from harvesting potatoes today if you're not feeling well."
Tala chimed in, "he's just being lazy, dad."
Tala playfully hit Natal's arm, and they all laughed. After the food , Tala and his father took the lead to the farm as always.
As they arrived at the farm, Tala's father began to hum a tune, and Tala joined in, singing along to the familiar melody. The song was one of her favorites, and she loved singing it with her father. The gentle breeze carried their voices across the fields, and the grasses swayed gently in the wind.
As they reached the farm, Tala's father handed her a basket and said, "Let's get started on the harvest. We need to pick those potatoes before the sun gets too high." Tala nodded, and together they began to work in the fields, the warm sun on their skin and the earthy scent of the soil filling the air.
The morning passed quickly, with Tala and her father working together in comfortable silence. They chatted occasionally, discussing the crops and the weather, but mostly they focused on the task at hand. As they worked, Tala felt a sense of contentment wash over her. She loved spending time with her father, and the farm was her happy place.
As the sun began to climb higher in the sky, Tala's father suggested they take a break and have some refreshments. They sat down under the shade of a nearby tree, and Tala's father pulled out a bottle of water and some snacks. As they ate and drank, Tala felt grateful for this moment, surrounded by nature and the people she loved.
The peacefulness of the morning was a perfect start to the day, and Tala felt blessed to have such a loving family and a beautiful home.
