Episode 6

Asher and Amelia live at the same building but different floor. Asher lives at the 39th floor while Amelia lives at the 40th. Amelia doesn’t like big mansions. She feels lonely living in big mansions.so they both decided to live in an apartment.

They both reached home, Amelia invited Asher to her home to have dinner prepared by Nanny Zhao. After they both had dinner, Asher asked Amelia about Zavier. She explained everything that happened at the venue. Amelia also said him that she suspects someone might have done it deliberately.

As Asher doesn’t know about Amelia’s secret identity, she didn’t say to him that; she has already asked someone to investigate about it. She concealed it from him thinking that he may worry about her.

After chatting for a while, Asher went to his home.

Amelia was lying on the bed staring at the ceiling and thinking about something. She got a call from the person whom she asked to investigate. Amelia attends the call and asked him about the result.

Chief! We didn’t find anything suspicious at the venue.

What about the people? Amelia asked

Everything was normal chief, but it shows that your step sister Miley was present at the venue.

It may be a coincidence… There is no way that she would know about my secret.

Chief! We also found that, an Ambulance followed you all the way from the venue to the company.

Did you get any details about the Ambulance?

Yes chief. It belongs to a small Ambulance service company named “Fast go”. But as per our information, the company has shut down before 3 years.

As expected… so it’s a dead end?

Yes chief… Fine, have a mark on it. She said and hung up the call and continues to stare at the ceiling.

ON THE OTHER SIDE

Zavier was lying on the bed and thinking about Amelia by looking at her photo in his phone, which he secretly clicked. His face is full of smile.

He heard the sound of someone opening the door. He pretends to sleep. A man came near Zavier and pulled his blanket away from him and said, “Stop pretending now”…

Zavier opened his eyes and laughed. Brother! Can you not always barge into my house? He said by pouting his lips

His brother screwed his ear and said, can you not always try to drive me away? then I can think about not barging in…

Now come, let’s eat. I have brought dinner for us. He said while patting his back. They both had dinner and were having a little chat while his brother asked him, when will he return home?

Brother, you know about mom and dad… they don’t like me coming home.

He came towards Zavier and hugged him, he patted his head with love and said; don’t worry everything will be fine one day, you have your brother.

Zavier nodded his head and asked him to return home as it’s getting late.

NEXT DAY MORNING

When Amelia was about to leave for work she got a call from her grandparents… hello sweetie pie! How are you? Amelia asked in a childish tone.

Your sweetie pie is angry with you and she doesn’t want to talk to you, her grandpa replied. Oh! Grandpa… can you please ask my sweetie pie what should I do to make her anger disappear?

My dear granddaughter, she wants you to come home and have dinner with her. But grandpa… tomorrow I have an event. I need to prep… she stopped in between and sighed, okay! I will be there for dinner.

My dear cutie pie at least say bye to me now, I know you are listening to me, Amelia teased her.

Her grandma did “Humph”… and said bye in a low voice. Amelia and Stefan (grandpa) laughed.

While she was about to hang up, Stefan asked Amelia to bring Asher with her for dinner. She agreed and hung up the call.

Asher usually waits for Amelia but today, seems he left early because Amelia was late. She reached her office and saw Asher. They discussed about the event and Amelia also informed him about the dinner.

After a while, Zara knocked the door and came inside. She said that everything was prepared at the venue and needs Amelia to check the designs and model’s rehearsal.

Amelia, Asher and Zara reached the venue. Once Amelia entered the venue her eyes searched for someone…
