EPILOGUE
ONE MONTH LATER
I was reading the New York Times with Harry and Hermione curled up next to me on my couch. I was still in pajamas and fluffy kitten slippers. A headline on the second page grabbed my attention. The accompanying photo piqued my interest. It featured a smiling Jackie Hanover standing between Dr. Murray and Dr. Grayson. The headline read, “California Memory Makers, a Company Researching Memory Disorders, Plans to Reopen its Doors.”
I read the article that was a recap of all that happened last month. It also included a quote from Jackie Hanover, the new member of the Memory Maker’s team, “In honor of my grandfather, I’m happy to accept this position as our company strives to perfect a cure for Alzheimer’s and all-related memory disorders.”
The story made me smile.
