When I entered, it was strangely dark. I initially thought Jax hadn’t come home, but then I noticed a small note lying on the floor. Switching on the light, I walked over and picked it up. The note simply read ‘Come outside’.
“Outside?” I mused, confused.
Looking around, unsure of what was happening, I followed the note’s instruction. I traversed through the house and into the living room, then opened the glass door leading outside to the backyard.
“Jax?” I called out.
That’s when I spotted the small lights further ahead. Intrigued, I walked closer. The grass crunched under my feet, stiff from the freezing temperatures. I paid no mind to the cold. Upon reaching the lights, I noticed a figure standing among them, smiling from ear to ear.
