CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR Jack and Eric said goodbye to each other at the Cairo airport in Egypt. Eric would travel north, and Jack would be travelling south on the Nile. In this case, as in the case of anything worth doing, there were complications. The locks, dams and reservoirs would be stopping Jack’s boat every once in a while, and while inconvenient, it would give him a chance to disembark, making it easier to sprinkle capsules from bridges near the shore. He also knew he’d have to wait until he reached the southern point of his journey before unloading larger quantities, because the Nile flowed north.
