Admits the car’s continuous silence finally Jack spoke up to break up the tension I felt in the air. “You shouldn’t have done that, you know?”
“Done what?” I asked him still confused as he drove down the main road without changing his expression. I simply stared at his side profile.
“Meddle into her world, Marceline… Vanessa… neither of them are good for you to be around, but you just keep pushing forward as if it’s normal.” Jack had warned me the exact same thing time and time again, I knew he felt like I wasn’t listening to him at all.
“I can’t help I met them.” I admit.
“Well you should definitely stop meeting people or that is going to put you in more danger than you already are.” Jack’s emotionless tone suited his expressionless face the most.
