“I was surprised you called me all of a sudden, doesn’t seem like you to want to get piss drunk.” Jessica remarked while entering the club together hand in hand. The music was blaring on the speakers around them it was difficult to hear one another.
“It was a rough week.” Marceline admitted.
“Stuff bad at work?” Jessica inquired.
“No, dating…” Marceline corrected her.
“Damn, girl, I didn’t know you’re still onto that online bullshit.” Jessica cursed out loud.
“It’s the only way I can meet people. It’s not like I have the time to go out every night or anything.” Marceline sighed heavily as they got their drinks at the bar.
