Chapter 22: The Start

When we drove back to the hotel the woman was laying in, I just felt weird seeing her… Her entire face was flushed a bright color of red and her hands were slightly shaking. She was half awake and half asleep, I’m sure she didn’t know what was happening… and I couldn’t imagine how scared she must be…
“What do we do?” Daniel asked me while standing behind my back. He looked maybe just as confused if not more. I could tell he really had no idea how to take care of another person.
“First I’ll go and get a cold wet towel to hopefully get her temperature down a bit… You stay with her…” I told him and he did as I said but didn’t move any closer to the woman, almost as if he was wary of her.
He then stood there watching me instead, I could feel his gaze as I walke
