"Look!!She's here." someone loudly said, looking at the Rose. Rose looked back and saw a bunch of boys and girls. They were all from her working area.They looked good with all the red outfit, which was Rose's favourite colour. She saw all her colleagues in the parking lot area and seemed confused. One of them came to her and proposed to her holding a flower bouquet,and everyone in the background cheered him. Rose didn't know what to do. She continuously looked at Nav's eyes, who was proposing to her.He wanted her to accept his proposal but the environment looked like he would get rejected. After a minute, she quickly rolled her eyes and turned her head. Seeing that, everyone became quiet. Nav said again, " Will you be a part of my life?" and Rose said " Ahm.... I don't know I have to think about it, Nav." Rose took her car and left.Everyone was giving hope to Nav that she could accept him.Nav and others also got back from work. Rose and Tina had been planning to meet for 1 month.Tina was Rose's childhood friend who was living in the next city with her family. "Hello cutiepie,long time no see,seems busy huh?" Tina went and hugged Rose. "You're the one who is always busy, not me, okay?" Rose said to Tina. "Ahh...now you're blaming me.....gosh!!! You are such a bad girl,"Said Tina. "Not more than you....hhahaha.." Rose said and they both laughed. " Let's go somewhere nice place with great food", Rose Said. "Why don't we go to Jack's restaurant?" Tina said. Jack, Tina, Rose were best friends from university.Now Rose's colleague, Nav and Jack are business partners. "Not there today. Maybe next time, today, I'll take you to the seaside area where we can relax." Rose said, and they went there in Rose's car. "WOW!! Look at the view. Amazing," Tina said. "It is. Let's go to the corner one." Rose pointed to the corner table with two comfy chairs and private space. "Why don't we order our food and chill? Tina said and Rose replied "What about Shrimp Po' boy, Haemul Pajeon?" "I'm in" Tina said and ordered. "You still know my favourite dish, right?" Tina said to Rose and Rose said "We have been best friends since childhood, it's not a big deal to know my favourite person's favorite dish." "Ahh...I know that's me....hahahaha" Their order arrived.The food looked so delicious.Shrimp Po’ Boy had a shrimp tempura base, which was topped with a savory tarragon remoulade. With fries on the side, and crunchy and filling, Korea’s savory pancake is served brimming with shellfish, cuttlefish, and other kinds of seafood.They have always had that since childhood. "Hmmm.....so amazing taste I cant never stop eating this" Tina Said . "Because of you,this has also become my favourite. I will never get tired of eating this."Rose said, and they started eating slowly. After that, they went to the beach and sat on the sand and talked about their day. "You know what happened today?" "Yeah, we finally met after a month and I'm so happy....." "Ah...I feel happy too and relieved." "Relieved??....But why?Do you have any problem?" "Oh...not like that...you know Nav, right? "Yes,since a year.Why? "He....he..." Rose was shaking her voice and Tina said, "What did he do to you?Are you okay?" "He proposed to me", Rose said, and looked into Tina's eyes. She was surprised. "Whaaaat?" "and I told him that I needed time to think about that." Tina felt relieved and said "Good, you need time to think.Everyone needs time." "I dont't know what to do. I have never thought about relationships.I'm confused." "Confused at what?" "Now I know I have to choose one p...." "You're telling me that you have an eye on someone?" "Ahh...I...I mean I have to choose between love and friendship."Slighty smiled and looked at Tina. "You don't have to worry about that I'm not an option, I'm permanent with you...hihi" "I know that already just wanted that answer from you." Both laughed. Tina splashed water in Rose's face and again asked, " hey,what are you going to say to him?" Rose ignored words and played with her. "You little rat, come here, I will kill you." and they both started to run and play on the beach with sand and water. They returned to Rose's home at 7 o'clock. The next day was Sunday, so they planned to watch a movie together with Rose's family. Rose had a younger brother ,elder sister, dad, and mom.They made Bulgogi. Bulgogi consists of thin slices of marinated beef sirloin that are cooked alongside sliced onions, green peppers, and garlic using a charcoal burner, resulting in a distinctive smoky flavour. Prior to grilling, the meat is marinated between 2 and 4 hours in a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, garlic, onions, ginger, and sugar to enhance its flavour and tenderness. This dish is also served with a side of leafy vegetables like lettuce and spinach, which is used to wrap a slice of cooked meat, often times, along with ssamjang (spicy paste) and kimchi, which looked amazing. Tina,Rose and Rose's family were all funded by food, so they made Bulgogi. While having dinner, Marina, Rose's mother, asked Tina" When are you coming here?I have already searched an area for you and your family." After hearing that, Rose looked into Tina's face full of surprise. "Rose, you didn't know that?" Marina asked her and Rose nodded her head to no. "I was going to give her a surprise.We were planning to move on June 23'rd." Rose jumped out of joy and said "Today is 23'rd,you already moved here and I didn't even notice that.Yahooo, from now I don't have to wait a month to meet you.Thank you" She kissed Tina's cheek and everyone laughed. After dinner, they all watched a movie together. Next morning, Tina saw Rose talking on the phone with someone and blushing alone. She quickly reached towards Rose and said "wohh". Rose screamed with fear. The person on the phone said " Are you okay?" Rose quickly said " I'm good, I will call you later." " It's Nav, and he's asking if I have made up my mind and....." "...and?" Tina rudely replied to Rose. "and I said I needed still more time to think." Again Tina rudely said "...BUT...you were blushing while talking to him , how am I supposed to know that you are not into him?" "Yeah, I feel like I like him, but I'm not sure about my feelings.I like his looks or his heart." "You like him...huh...that means something is happening in the near future,...hmm?" Tina said and laughed. Rose also laughed and both went downstairs to have a morning coffee. "You guys are having good news soon....Ro..." Rose stopped Tina and said " It's another prank on the breakfast table, right?" Tina said with a bold voice "nooo". Rose's father, Harry, whispered in Tina's ear "I am curious about good news. Now tell me secretly." Tina laughed hard and Rose said "Appa, She is joking." Rose looked into Tina's eyes and indicated not to speak. After coffee and breakfast, Tina and Rose headed outside to a park near Rose's house. The park was full of flowers, amazing handy arts, natural beauty.They went there and sat on the ground. "Where are you staying?" Rose said. "Near your company, 29th floor of Grand Rosso." "What really?" "Yeah, and I have another surprise for you." "Again??....What is that??" "Do you know a new colleague from your department? "No, but I have heard that she is coming on Monday and she is on top of her batch." "Ah...you're right..Can you guess who that could be?" "How am I supposed to know?" "You know her very well." "Whhhhat????Is that.....is that you???" with a happy face and smile, Rose asked Tina. "You gotta....." "Oh my god!!! Really???" "Ahmm..." Rose hugged Tina and laughed out of happiness. "Let's have lunch at my place with family" "Okay, let's get back home first." Both went home happily with huge smiles on their faces. Rose told everyone that Tina was working in her company in the same department and Tina invited all her family members to come for lunch at Tina's place. Everyone congratulated her and went to her place .After lunch, Rose and Tina went to look around the apartment and her room. In Tina's room, Rose saw a huge picture frame of their childhood.She was surprised by that and said "That is ours....We were so cute,right? "Yeah you are cute.....I mean we are still cute." "What is that?" Rose saw a moon lamp on her table. "It was broken, right?How did this.....?" "Yeah, I repaired that.It took me a month to fix....How could I throw it?It was the first gift from you...So precious for me.." "Oh gosh!!!You're something else...hahaha" "hahahahah" Both laughed. Around 4:00 pm, Nav called Rose and she looked at Tina's face and Tina silently told her to pick up the phone. "Hello, Nav" "Hi Rose, how are you doing?" "Good , you?" "Same here" "Okay, what are you doing?" " I'm at Tina's house" "What??She is already here??" "How did you know she was coming here??" "No , I mean she is here??" "Yeah, she is, but how do you know??" "I have heard some folks saying that Tina is coming to our company too." "You already know and you're telling me now??" "She told me not to tell you....." "She told you what???.....huh?? "................."no answer from him, Rose asked again, "Nav, I know you're there, what are you ta......" line disconnected. Rose angrily looked at Tina's face. "What??" Tina said. "When were you going to tell me??" "Tell what?" "What is happening between you and Nav??" "Shhh!!!you're over acting,he overheard while I was telling jack about how I was gonna surprise you and I told him not to tell you while speaking with jack on the phone." "Are you sure?" " It's a fact." "Okay, but I have doubts why he didn't tell me that instead of cutting off the line." "Maybe there was a problem with the network." "I don't think so." "Let it be , okay? Let's not ruin this moment." "Okay" Rose and her family get back home after lunch and snacks at Tina's house. Monday morning, Rose woke up early and went directly to Tina's apartment where Tina was waiting for Rose to arrive. "Hey baby,looking sexy huh,huh??",Rose said to Tina by teasing. "Ahhh....not more than you my lady ....." "Lets go and rock the work ....hahaha" Tina said "Go..go.." Rose rode a car and both went to the office. Colleagues in her department were standing in front of the entrance to welcome Tina. Tina took a flower from them and offered them to have lunch with her for a treat.Everyone clapped and went to their workplace. Nav and Tina were in the same column in a working area. "Welcome" "Thank you" "Nervous?" " Obviously not...not new work. I have been working in this field for 13 months, so no worries." "Okay great then." "Coffee?" "Sure,black coffee with two....." "Yeah, I know two sugar cubes." "You sure know that Tina...."Nav laughed. Rose was a little far from them but she was amazed by their chat. She didn't know that they were so close. She thought that Tina was hiding something from her. The Nav who proposed to her on Saturday was acting like he did nothing on Monday, so Rose had gone deep thinking. "Hello,day dreamer" Rose startled and said rudely "Whaaat?" "I didn't say anything. Have some coffee so that you don't sleep again." David said, who had a crush on Rose from the starting day of work at that company. "Oh, sorry!!Thank you for the coffee, David " She slightly smiled at him and started to work. After a few hours, Rose went to pass a few documents to Tina but she wasn't there and she looked at the Nav desk. He was also not at his desk. She looked out of the window and saw a girl and boy standing in the corner of the wall.She didn't notice their faces, but, just in a while, they hugged and Rose thought that they were not people she knew and came back to her desk , started working.
