Chapter Nine: God of Anger

Valentine was not expecting the greeting he got when he got to Bastion's. There was something different about him. Something was very different. Bastion had gone from his changed looks to his original form. The dark energy of death he had coming off him scared the hell out of Valentine. “You have one chance to tell me the truth. One chance only. Did you kill Annalisa?” Radames asked his voice rumbling like thunder, sending chills of fear down Valentines spine into his very soul. Valentine took a deep breath and then answered, “It wasn't my fault it was an accident the gun went off and she passed out, I thought she was dead.” Radames knew he was lying. He took a step closer to Valentine leaving only a few inches between them. “You know Valentine you shouldn't lie to a god.” He says in a deathly whisper. He grabs enemy and takes him to the once place he hated going to. His father's realm, the underworld. The journey would have ripped a normal human’s soul from their body. But Valentine's soul was protected, for now. Radames took him to where his father's warriors trained. He threw Valentine in the midst of them and they looked at him like a piece of meat. The half human, half jackal creatures were intrigued. “He is yours to do as you wish. Make him suffer.” With one final touch Radames took the immortality Valentine had been given and he watches as his body and soul were torn apart. His soul remained in pieces like fragmented pieces of Valentine in the midst of the warriors. They smiled gleefully and then began sodomizing his broken soul. He would be tortured for the rest of eternity for what he had done and for the first time ever Radames had shown part of his godly power. After watching with utter satisfaction while Valentine's punishment began, Radames was ready to leave. He left the underworld and returned to his home to wait. It would only be a matter of time before he was visited by the gods again. Radames went back to hiss form as Bastion and while he waited, he spent time with Giovanni. Bastet had loved Giovanni as her own child, and the thought occurred to Bastion that perhaps he could give her the greatest gift ever...
