CHAPTER 0: prologue
Before history began, when creation was still deciding what it wished to become, there existed two breaths of life: one of light… and one of hunger.
From the light came the realms of grace, lands ruled by kindness, guided by magic and the natural order. From hunger came the Underworld, a place beneath shadow and silence, where desire had no end and power no boundary. It was said that once, all creatures walked the same earth, until ambition split them apart.
Thus the world divided itself.
---
The Beings of the Divided World
The Lycans were born of the moon’s anger—a people of bone and will, fierce and loyal to bloodlines older than kings. Their titles became their strength. Their howls still echo through night, reminding the world that power is inherited, but also earned.
The Centaures, half horse and half man, were sculpted from the earth’s velocity. Their spears pierce wind, their hooves outrun lightning, and their discipline is spoken of in whispers by cowards and generals alike.
Witches and Wizards, keepers of dark secrets, learned first that knowledge is power and deception its silent twin. Their magic is barbed beauty
deadly if mishandled.
Mages, unlike them, call upon natural magic. The wind bends for them. Fire listens. They do not bend the world
they collaborate with it.
Dragons were the world’s protectors. Forged in molten earth, birthed by the sky, beings of ancient loyalty and unbreakable strength. It was said that as long as a dragon breathed, hope existed.
The Fae descended from starlight and song...peace-bringers, healers, carriers of goodwill. But their gentleness became weakness. Their blood thinned with every century, and extinction is now whispered around their fading wings.
The Gods and Goddesses watched from high places. Creators, healers, patrons of balance,
they offered kindness freely, yet never interference. Perhaps that was their greatest sin.
more, more creatures surfaced from the dark.. vampires, shape shifters, the harrowed, the ferrymen of the forgotten, nightmare weavers, revenants, sorrow hounds and many more
some a product of human emotions others Born from an abomination.
And beneath all…
The Demons and Devils. Born from every unspoken wish, every forbidden dream. Unimaginable power dwells in their hands, yet they are chained to one rule:
> They cannot claim what is not willingly given.
And so, at the beginning of time, when even the stars feared what was coming…
Lucifer smiled.
> “If desire must lead them to me… then I shall give desire a name.”

---
The Pact of Fading Leaves
When Hell’s power began to seep into realms beyond, the creatures of light sought salvation. The Fae, though fragile, stepped forward first. They offered peace to the fire.
In exchange for Hell’s promise never to breach Faeland, the Fae surrendered their greatest treasure:
> The Heart of the Silver Dragon of Life.
after which they only had one dragon heart left, that they cherished, reminding themselves that they gave up the male heart to avoid their extinction.
A vow sealed in silence. A protection that would last…
but as auralia always says: "greed will imprison us all"
a fea fell into that prison without knowing it.
