MIA’S POV (Sarah’s bestie) I and Sarah are outside the school courtyard chatting and having lunch on the nice green grasses with flowers and decorations. We decided to have our lunch here Cause the canteen would be filled by now. Other students were also there having their different conversations as well. “So are we going to attend the school’s social night, tonight? I asked Sarah to be sure we’ll attend. “Common for real? Mia are you seriously asking me that! Sure you know we’ll go, I wanna see what’s going to happen there between Natasha and Jenny! Sarah said while we both burst into laughter!!! “For real those two are something else with their both accomplices beside them” I said to Sarah. Well that’s there thing always talking about fashion, boys, romance”, “you act like you’ve not been in love before or your not in love now” Sarah cut me from finishing my statement about Natasha and Jenny. What’s it with this girl again; I actually know what she wants to start talking about, I said to myself, “huh? In love with who?. “Mia!!!! Don’t tell me you don’t see the way Nelson looks at you in class” “Nelson? So that’s your job Sarah to stair at people in class, no!! I don’t see anything and Nelson doesn’t look at me anyway! I responded to her and we both burst in laughter again. I actually knew what she was talking about but I don’t want people to start noticing I have a crush on him. “Wait!!!! How’s you and Fabian date plan going? I quickly asked Sarah to change the whole topic being on me. “Ummm Fabian? She asked while rubbing the back of her neck with her left hand, and looking away! Like someone’s who’s lost “Ummm....Sarah!! Yoooo I’m the one talking to you, who the hell are you staring at over there, or is something wrong between you two? “Yeah, I guess Fabian doesn’t want me! “Seriously? Why” what’s the problem! “You remember the other day we both went out that I told you about!!! That’s when he told me, he spoke he’s mind! He said I’m not the girl he wants to be with and he’s sorry about it but he can’t date me” Sarah said with a frustrating tune. “Sorry about that” I said to her while I held her hands, but why didn’t you tell me before now? “Cause I thought you’ll make fun of me or something” “no now I can’t do that, your my friend! I said to her. “Thanks Mia” she said. We continued eating our meal and chatting when we heard the bell, “I think we should get going to class”. We both packed our stuffs and headed to class. Sarah went to her locker to drop her stuff and I went to mine as well. Green fine lockers on each corners of the walk way, and a very big crystal chandelier at the center of the roof. The whole building painted in white which made it looked perfect. We both went straight to class. I and Sarah are both in same class but different halls and courses! I’m an art student while she’s in science. But we do have general classes together like maths and English, computer, and French, that’s where we happen to meet each apart from launch period. And we’re both going for maths class at the moment, “Mr Andrew” our maths teacher! General classes are one of my best classes cause you get to see all your classmates gathered and different things starts playing on, it’s either we’re all having an argument or we’re fighting each other and the rest gets to sit and watch the best out of them. “I hope we don’t see any more dramas today! Sarah said smiling. We walked in with everyone staring at us! This is what I hate the most; people just keep staring at you even when your early. I spotted an empty seat at the second roll, for both of us. “Sarah over there, I said behind her. We took our seats. Mr Andrew is always late when he has a class with us. Everyone in class were having a conversation since Mr Andrew wasn’t in class yet! I was trying go through my note when Sarah tapped me, “Mia!!!! She called while using her elbow to hit on my arms. “Look drama queens are here” she said with a low tune that only the both of us could hear. “Huh!!! That was Natasha, Kelly and Ashanti!. These three are always causing fight. “Ummm everyone please pay attention” Natasha said while dragging everyone’s attention to her. “We all know tonight is our social night right ? I’m Just making it clear to everyone here that I’m going out with Kaley tonight so if any of you have in mind to steal him from me this night then jokes on you, cause I’ll definitely rip you apart in my own way” she said smiling and flaunting her hair. After her useless speech they all went to have their seats at the back. Everyone kept on mumbling to themselves like who gives a f**k about Kaley anyways. Kaley is one of the most popular guys in school that girl wants. Natasha’s voice was so loud like f**k we could hear their discussion from were we were. Christopher and Kian came in class together. “What’s up with this two there always together? I asked Sarah. “Umm could you stop poking into there business there cousins Mia” Sarah said to me like she’s gonna pull my mouth next time. “Hey girls!!!! We heard from behind us, “f**k it’s Nelson, I said smiling. Mia compose I kept on saying in my head talking to myself. “Hey, Nelson I responded with a wave. “Really Mia? Everyone was finally in class and Mr Andrew had started he’s teaching. Sarah couldn’t take her eyes off Fabian and a girl holding hands. She kept on staring at their hands. She’s still has feelings for Fabian and it’s crazy! “Hey, I quietly elbowed her to distract her. “What? She asked with a low. “What you looking at? Your distracted! “No I’m not! She said and remained quiet looking at Mr Andrew while he was teaching. I tried turning my head to steal a glance from Nelson. “f**k!! Our both eyes meet. I said and paid my attention back on me Andrew. Classes were finally over, we all stood up to arrange our stuffs so we could leave! “Umm Mia? Nelson called. Please don’t talk about our eyes meeting each other I kept on praying inward. “Yess! “Was wondering if you’ll join me for social night? Like be my date for tonight! Nelson asked me! “Why didn’t you ask me earlier before now? I said trying to act tough. “My bad! Are you taken or something? He asked like he was scared. “No I’m not!!okay I’ll join. He let out a breath of reveal. “So I’ll come pick you up right or??? “We will meet here no need coming to pick me up not like it’s some special occasion it’s just social night” I said and he smiled and said he’s goodbyes and left. “Ahh......I screamed in excitement, l“Hey, hey, hey what’s your problem screaming around the whole place? Ashanti asked me. “Oh God not them, please not them! I said to myself without responding to her at all. “And what’s your problem if she screams isn’t class over? Sarah asked her. If looks could kill I promise you Ashanti would have been dead by now. I’ve never had issues with those girls and I never wanna do. “Sarah lets go, don’t mind her, I said and we both walked away.
