Lucas didn't answer my question as he turned around and drifted to sleep. I was fuming with anger but didn't know what to do.
Why was he treating me like I didn't matter?
I was still lost in thought when sleep took me away.
The next morning I woke up to see that he had gone to work. I sighed deeply, a thousand and one thoughts running through my mind.
I couldn't hold it anymore as I decided to accept the fate that I have made a big mistake.
I picked up my phone to call my childhood friend. She was the only one I knew might understand me.
