Chapter Nineteen Lucas had traveled for a business trip. I was relaxed as it meant there was no one to pester me about the need for both of us giving his grandpa a baby. But it still didn't change the fact that he might bring it up later. No matter what, I had decided not to sweat the stuff. I woke up and reached for the other side of the bed. My heart skipped a beat as I thought about how he would always place a pillow between us when we went to bed. I stepped into the shower and washed my body clean, stepping out. I put on clean clothes.
