The next day Lucas went to meet his grandpa.
When he came back his countenance was nothing to write home about as he spoke clearly.
“Why didn't you say anything regarding Grandpa offering you money to leave this relationship”,
I widened my mouth in shock. I really didn't understand. Grandpa offered me money but that's not the reason I wanted to leave.
“I forgot Lucas…a lot was running through my mind”,
He let out a little laugh. “Is that it…you should have said it…you agreed to leave so you would go behind my back and collect it”,
