Chapter forty-three
I found my way out of the hospital. The whole conversation we had earlier still lingered in my mind.
I couldn't take it as tears streamed down my eyes uncontrollably. I was brought to reality as my phone began to ring in my bag.
I checked to see that it was a call from David.
I rejected his call not wanting to speak with him but since he wouldn't stop calling me I resulted to answering and couldn't wait to give him a piece of my mind.
“Hello”, I voiced out.
“Hello”, he responded from the other end of the phone.
“How are you doing?” he asked.
“I am good”, I lied.
“If you don't mind Diana…I will love us to see”, he voiced out.
