When Darkness come

Darkness surrounds me and stiffing my vision. Where am I? What is happening to me? I m trying to feel around to feel what is around me. But my hands feel as if they are bound to my sides. But I'm standing but on what? My eyes and mouth are entirely shut. But, I can hear people talking from a distance. My heart is beating fast. I am scared. '' Why can't I move my body? '' He thought, '' What I need to do now is calm down and think about what is happening? ''He thought to himself.'' Okay, this is what I know. My name is Liam Blackwell and my father is Noah Blackwell. He is the Grand Duke of the City of Persia. In the year 1700, Persia was attacked by an Army demon called Wyvern. These monsters eat humans to gain power. For many years we had a barrier protecting us. One day they got through the wall. But how? How could did this happen? When they attacked, there was chaos and confusion. Demons took over Persia many people died. I was lucky enough to survive with a group of people I admired: Jessica, Sam, Gade, Jasmine, and my brother reed. The last thing I remember was protecting the orphanages from the demon race. I gave my brother the ivory rose. ''Why can't I remember anything after that? just what happened?'' He questions himself. '' Did I die? There is no way I did. What about the others? I hope they are alright'' he said, '' Now that I think about it, How did the demons know where the village resides? We used a protection spell. Persia was protected by a barrier outside the land in the monster territory. We had to survive in an uncertain and dangerous world, with many enemies and losses. We were just about to take back our freedom by making a base with a protective barrier. We were under attack from the demons. They wouldn't be able to come in unless someone let them in, but who would do that?'' Liam said, The faces of everyone Liam knew flashed in his mind. He hated to think that one of his friends he loves dearly would be working with the demon races. But the fact was undeniable. It was clear that they had a traitor among them. Liam was wondering who it would be. He thought about everyone's behavior leading up to the attack. Suddenly, He heard a soft voice call his name. Liam felt the chains break off his body and he was able to move and see. He opens his eye slowly because he was scared of what he was going to see. It was a bright light. His eyes had to adjust to it. When he opened his eyes, he saw magnificent braziers encircling each of the sixteen basalt columns light up the lower levels of the throne hall, and it bathed the aisle in a dancing glow of orange. The glass of the windows in the curved ceiling danced in the flickering light while gargoyles and statues looked down upon the slate floor of this ceremonious hall. A saffron rug runs from the throne down through the center and splits into two paths leading out. Banners with emblazoned and embroideries dangle gently from the walls. Between each flag hangs a torch. They have all been lit and illuminated by the statues of powerful creatures below them. Hefty-colored glass windows are hidden by draperies and colored the same saffron as the banners. The curtains have been adorning with jewels and gold leaves. An impressive marble throne sits beneath a plain-looking baldachin (canopy) and is adjoined by four plain. But comfortable seats for those aiding the royal highness in all affairs. The throne is covered in holy engravings. The fixture on the broad backside is a gem-encrusted flower head. The thick pillows are dark saffron, and these two have been adorning with decorated borders. Those wishing to listen to their royal highness can do so on the few impressively carved oak benches, all of which face the hall's center. Those of higher standing can instead take a seat in the luxuriant balconies. Liam saw six balls of light on each of them. They were floating in the air. They spoke with firm voices. On the side of the light was a woman that looked like an angel. She was the most beautiful woman Liam has ever seen. When she saw him, she read his life story. '' Liam Blackwell, the oldest son of the Grand Duke Noah Blackwell. His mother was a p********e. He was born with low status as a royal. No one respects him, despite how hard he worked everyone showed contempt for him. Liam was trying to save the orphanage, But instead, he died at his brother's hands. ''What was his reason for killing him?'' voice one said, ''The Ivory Rose, is a crystal with unusual beauty. The crystal has The power to set barriers as well as defeat the demon race. However, you can't take it from the owner. It has to transfer the ownership over. And only the owner can break it. If an outsider were to try. They would be killed instantly.'' She said, '' What does it have to do with his death?'' Voice number two said, '' Well, Liam gave the crystal to his brother, and he kills him after. The crystal was the only thing stopping the demon from taking over the world. Once they got it, they destroyed it.'' She said, '' What a fool? The human is so weak-minded'' Voice three said, While they were talking Liam's last moments before death flashed in his mind. Liam vision It was a cold day, it was a joyous day because after seven years living in the monster ruin. With a lack of resources and no safe plan to go. They finally had hope when they discovered the ability of the Ivory crystal. It has a powerful barrier that the demons are weak to. Liam formed a group called Beasts slayers. It was a small organization but with time. They had the potential to become bigger. They build a base and recruit some survivors. Liam gave the ivory crystals to Reed. just in case he died, but that proved to be a grave mistake. The last thing Liam remembers was Reed stabbing him. It was clear everything made sense Reed was acting strange ever since Laim awaken. For many years Liam couldn't use magic for many generations his family could always use water magic. To his family, he was a disgrace because he couldn't learn water magic. " Did everyone die because of the mistake I made" He mumble The woman spoked " Yes, the Demons ate every last humans" "How am I still living ?" ''Liam, where do you think you are now? The woman asked, Liam looked around his eyes wide. he covers his mouth in shock. Liam couldn't believe what he saw. Everyone he save even the monster he killed was standing on a chessboard. Like chess pieces, they were lined up in order by rank. Their eyes and mouth were shut and hands by their side. The Humans was standing across from the demons.
