Tracy’s POV
But his words fell on deaf ears. My jaw clenched with contained rage.
“I don’t need your explanations anymore, Alex. Jackson was right all along. I should have listened to him,” I declared, my voice filled with bitterness and regret.
The mention of Jackson’s name sent a chill down Alexander’s spine, his mind racing with the implications of his rival’s involvement in our personal affairs.
“Jackson? What does he have to do with any of this?” Alexander questioned, his heart sinking at the thought of his enemy’s meddling. But my eyes held no mercy as I leveled my gaze at him, my voice tinged with resentment.
“He sent me the photo, Alex. The one that shattered my trust in you. And now I see he was telling the truth all along,” I revealed, my words like a dagger to Alexander’s heart.
The weight of my accusation hung heavy in the air, suffocating Alexander with the realization that his actions had not only cost him my trust but had also played into the hands of his most hated rival.
“Tracy, I swear to you, it was a mistake. I never meant to hurt you,” Alexander pleaded, his voice cracking with emotion.
But his pleas fell on deaf ears as I turned away from him. My resolve hardened like steel.
“If you think I’ll stand by and let you get away with this, Alex, you’re mistaken,” I declared, my tone cutting through the tense silence like a sharpened blade.
“Tracy, please, let’s not do anything rash,” Alex pleaded, his voice tinged with desperation as he reached out to me.
“Don’t you dare touch me,” I spat, my voice dripping with disdain. “You’ve betrayed me in the worst possible way, Alex. And now you’ll face the consequences.”
An icy chill settled over the room as I made my intentions clear, my words hanging in the air like a dark cloud of impending doom.
“I’m filing for divorce, Alex,” I continued, my voice filled with resolve. “And I won’t hesitate to expose your infidelity to the world. You’ve brought this upon yourself.”
Alex’s heart sank at the finality of my words, the weight of his actions crashing down upon him like a tidal wave of regret.
“Tracy, please, don’t do this,” Alex pleaded, his voice laced with desperation. “Think about what this will do to us, to our family.”
But I remained unmoved, my gaze cold and unyielding as I turned to leave the room, my mind made up.
With a sigh of resignation, Alex reached for his phone, his fingers trembling as he dialed a familiar number. He knew what he had to do, no matter how distasteful it seemed.
“Hello?” came the voice on the other end of the line, filled with a sense of urgency.
“It’s me,” Alex replied, his voice heavy with resignation. “I want you to kill Tracy tonight!”

I gripped the steering wheel, my knuckles turning white as tears streamed down my face. The pounding of my heart drowned the rhythmic hum of the engine out, each beat echoing the betrayal I felt deep within. I couldn’t believe that Alex had been unfaithful. The realization had hit me like a freight train, shattering our perfect life together.
As I drove through the deserted streets towards our home, memories of our happier times haunted my mind. I longed to turn back the clock, to erase the moment I said “I do” and walked down the aisle towards a future that now seemed bleak and uncertain. The weight of regret pressed down on my chest, suffocating me with every breath.
My foot pressed down harder on the accelerator, the car speeding along the empty road with reckless abandon. The streetlights blurred into streaks of light as I pushed the car faster, desperate to outrun the pain that threatened to consume me whole.
But fate had other plans.
A blinding light filled my vision as a car approached from the opposite direction. My eyes widened in terror as I realized too late that I was veering into oncoming traffic. I tried to swerve back into my lane, but it was too little, too late.
The sickening crunch of metal echoed through the night as my car collided with a nearby lamppost. Glass shattered, metal twisted, and my world spun out of control. Pain seared through my body as the airbag exploded into my chest, knocking the breath from my lungs.
In the chaos of the moment, time seemed to stand still. The smell of smoke filled the air as I struggled to regain my bearings, my mind reeling from the impact. I reached out with trembling hands, fumbling for the door handle as panic threatened to overwhelm me.
With a groan of metal, the door gave way, and I stumbled out into the frosty night air. My head spun as I tried to focus, my gaze falling on the wreckage of my car with disbelief.
I fell to the ground in a heap, my strength drained, unconsciousness consuming me as darkness took over.
In the stillness of the night, the only sound that remained was the distant wail of sirens, growing louder with each passing moment. And as the world faded to black, my last thought was of the life I had left behind, shattered like the broken pieces of my car scattered across the road.
