Meeting his Beautiful Wife

Chapter 5

JARED'S POV

I can't believe that the woman who caught my attention is my wife. I must admit that I was really attracted to her before, but I'm not attracted to gold diggers. She is nothing but a beautiful face. I was at lost while ago that I was not able to execute my plan in kicking her out. I’ll gonna make her regret in fooling my parents to let me marry her. My plan to kick her out ASAP has changed, I want to know more about her before I let her go.

I can't stop imagining her beautiful face as I think of other plan.

How nice would it be if I see that pretty face of hers begging for me. Part of me got insulted when I saw that my appearance was not able to make her show some weakness. Unlike other girls, she seems to be prepared to anything I will do. I guess she already know that I am her husband from the very start. But, why is she avoiding me. I intend to know her weakness tonight.

GENA'S POV

I'm so nervous to go home. It's hard to pretend strong. How I wish I could skip this kind of problem. I can't focus on my work anymore. It's almost 5pm, I can't calm myself, I know something bad is going to happen tonight. I'm thinking if I could just file a divorce and give everything to Jared. I already have enough savings to start my own business. But, that would mean that I will not be fulfilling my promise to Mr. and Mrs. Jacobo. My conscience won't let me live in peace.  

Uuurrrgh! I feel so hopeless!

After thinking a lot, I realized that it's already 5:30pm. I hurriedly took my things and decided to go home.

"Que sera sera!" I told myself. I should know first the plan of Mr. Jared. Whatever he wants I'll just give it to him. With that, I inform my driver that I'm on my way down the building.

After 15 minutes, I was already standing in front of the mansion. My knees feels so weak and I can't take a step to get in.

"Ma'am Gena , are you okay?" my driver asked. As if I was awaken from a sleep, I smiled and started to move my feet.

"You can do this!" I whispered to myself. I made a deep breath and open the door. A maid welcomes me, I just smiled and went hurriedly to my room. After closing the door, I dived into my bed and tried to relax myself.

In just a minute, I heard a knock on my door. "Come in!” I answered.

"Gena are you okay?" the maid asked me.

"Yeah, I'm good, just a little bit tired" I answered.

"Sir Jared is waiting for you in the dining area, I guess he doesn't like to wait anymore" she informed me.

"Okay, I'll go now" I said and get up from the bed. I just combed my hair with my hand and fixed the hem of my dress. I don't need to look beautiful, I might be dragged out of this house later.

Before I enter the dining room I immediately show my facial blank expression. It's the best way to do when I don't know what to expect. 

"Good evening sir!" I greeted him with a very light smile that fades as soon as I finish my sentence. I just made a glance to him. I'm so afraid to look into his eyes.

"Sit down." I heard him say. I chose the chair farthest to him.

"Let's eat."

"Yes sir", I answered like a very nervous little girl. I feel so embarrassed being seen by the maids that I'm so afraid and weak. Maybe they're thinking why the change to my behavior.

I ate a little amount of food without knowing how they taste. 

"Excuse......" I was about to excuse myself but, he interrupted me.

"Sit down and wait for me to finish my food" he instructed me.

I just nod my head and stoop. I don't know what to do. This is so embarrassing. I have nothing to say and I'm afraid to look at him.

"So, how was your work and the business?" he started a conversation.

"It’s good and running smoothly"

"hmm, it seems that you love the work so much, you even invested yourself for it"

"It’s my passion to do my job as an employee sir, I would let you handle it if that's what you want sir" I answered. To let him know that I'm not a greedy person. But, it seems that he was not expecting for it.

“Really? You’re just giving it to me, then what shall you do?"

"I can find another job and a place to stay"

"You seemed to be prepared, but I guess I still need you to do your job. I'll let you know when you're not needed." he seems to be irritated. He stands up in an angry manner and walks away.

I immediately stand up and went back to my room. What was that, I was not able to make things clear? I'm still clueless of his plan. It seems that he doesn't want to let me go easily, does he plan on torturing me with anxiety?! aaargggghhh! I hate this feeling. I'm used to be always prepared, but now I don't know which plan to execute. Thankfully I was able to sleep after thinking too much.

At the bar****

Jared is now drinking with his friend Ronnie. He met Ronnie abroad and they become friends, he just came here earlier than him to establish his own business and his business is going well as of now. They have a two beautiful ladies beside them, but Jared can't push himself to flirt with them. He is preoccupied with the thought of Gena who seems to be well prepared with the situation. His plan was to kick her out, divorce her and let her feel shame from forcing him to marry her. But this plan is not effective anymore, he can't just let her go like nothing ever happened. He was not able to marry his first love because of her. She should pay for it. As he was busy thinking, he was not aware that he keeps on drinking nonstop.

"Hey man! What’s wrong, I thought we're here to celebrate, why do you look so serious?" Ronnie asked.

"There’s nothing to celebrate yet" Jared answered as he drink another shot.

"What? Were you not able to kick out your gold digging wife?"

"I can't do that for now, she's well prepared to leave me and I will not be able to punish her that way"

"She's interesting I guess"

"hmm!"

"By the way, I met a very beautiful woman the other way, I think I'm ready to settle down if I'll be able to get her" Ronnie is smiling foolishly while telling this to Jared.

"Who is she?" Jared asked.

"Her name is Gena, and she's working for J's company!" 

"What?! Don’t you dare touch her?" Jared exclaimed

"whoah! Calm down bro! Do you know her or do you have a relationship with her?" Ronnie asked.

"She's my wife!" Jared clenched his fist, he is so pissed that his friend is eyeing his wife to be his wife. 

Ronnie seems shocked and he's speechless. "I'm sorry, I was not informed." he finally uttered.

"I thought that she was single, they never mentioned that she is married when we meet for the business deal." Ronnie explained.

But, it seems that his explanation angered Jared more. How dare that woman to act like a single and available to other man! He was so pissed that he decided to end the night. Both the men went off their way home.
