"I will go from here ma'am" I reported to Mrs.Sophie
"I will just drop you guys home" Ivy dad suggested
"No thanks. We will just take the bus"
"I insist" He beamed
"Mom, let take his car, looks like it going to rain heavily" Elena suggested grabbing the tip of my cloth
Mrs.Sophie POV
"What are you planing to do" He walked back in after dropping them home
"What's does it look like am doing" He turned at me
"Don't you dare try anything stupid"
"Anything stupid? Am only trying to help" He gestured
"Just let her be please" I pleaded
"Well, I don't plan to" He scorn
"I notice the roof linking and it looks like it gonna pour more heavily midnight...I wonder what happened to the innocent kid" He put on a sympathy face
"Mom, save her please" Ivy chirped in
"Don't tell me you did that! I fired at him
"Heavens are always supporting me" He wink at me
I stormed out in anger and headed to my room
"Mom please do something" Ivy grab my clothes
"I can't, it gonna change into something else"
"I know you gat a pure heart, a mind of gold, just ignore me and help them out! He scream from downstairs
Mrs.Celine POV
"Why couldn't you lock the door! I yelled angrily at Elena
Everything just went bad, The wretched house got robbed by a wretched robber, he stole every single thing, even the roof got leaking, the whole house already got wet
"Am sorry mom" she burst into tears
I drag her closer and gave her a hug patting her hair
"Am sorry for putting you through all this" I whisper trying to send back my tears
The peeps of my phone cut short the moment
"Good evening ma'am" I picked up the call
"Am outside! She said with a cold voice
"O...outside?
"What are you doing here? I ran outside with Elena
She was standing under the umbrella with Ivy beside her
"what are you doing here moron?
"b***h! You should thank me for coming here! She responded
"Get in the car! she ordered
"Car? why?
"It will be too dangerous here for the night...I can't allow Elena to sleep here!

"You guys should get dress" we barge in the girls dressing room
"Mom, she just keep ranting over the dress " Ivy complain as we walked in
"Mom! I don't like this color " Elena turned to me
"But you said you want this colour" Mrs.Sophie bend to her size
"I want Ivy's color" She point to the bed
"Take what you are given! I yelled at her
"Am really sorry Mrs.Sophie" I bow
"Just wear this, I will get you another one. Don't spoil the party" She pat her head
"Is it because am not your daughter!
"Elena! I slapped her across the face
"Am really sorry Mrs Sophie, I will try and sort it out"
"You wear it or I cancel the birthday party! I scream at her face
"Am sorry mom" She burst into tears
"She already tried in preparing the birthday for us , she even bought everything including the dress, Do you ever thing your Mom can do all this! I stormed out angirly

Elena POV
"Am sorry mom" I cried as I walked in the silent hallway
I think I lost mom, I didn't see her around
"Mom.. am sorry"
"Am sorry Sir" I hear a faint voice of mom
I move closer to the nearest Door, Mom bow gently, she was standing in front of Ivy's Dad who was smiling sheenly. Looks like he is scolding mom
"Why don't you just apologize inside" He brushed his hand in between her breast
"M....
"What are you doing here? Mrs.Sophie voice cut me off
"It......
"Just go back and dress" she cut me off again
"But.....
"Just go, Ivy is waiting, Don't spoil your day"
I dragged my struck foot back to the room
Mrs Celine POV
"Surprise! Mrs.Sophie bought out two big teddy bear
"Wow! it pretty mom"Ivy exclaims and grab the red one
"Thanks Mrs.Sophie" Elena giggles and grab the other one, it pink
"Looks like I haven't missed much " Ivy's dad walked in, he let out a smile immediately his eyes met with mine
He has been giving a hard time which turned me really much aggressive
"let cut the cake" Mrs.Sophie break the awkward moment
He sat down beside Ivy making it five of us. it looks like a Normal family birthday since we didn't invite anyone, we sat round the dining table
I brought out the two big cake
"Mom, have this" Elena gave me the first cut
"No Elena, you should have the first bite and gave your mom the second, you too ivy"
They both took the first bite
"Cheers babies" She popped the Champagne as everyone gulp down a glass
"Take this mom" Ivy offer the second bite to her mom
"M...mom" Elena mumble holding her stomach
"What's wrong Elena" I held her cold hand
"My eyes are going crazy" She mutter halfway with her eyes half close
"Me too mom" Ivy grumble
*What's wrong! Mrs.Sophie grabbed her daughter putting down the wine glass
"I....I... She mumbles before passing out sweating out profusely
"Elena!" I dragged her lifeless body
Mrs.Sophie carried her daughter who seems to have passed out too
"T...the Cake...I think the cake got poisoned! I point toward Ivy's Dad with my clammy hands. He was just sitting starring at us like a dumb!
