As Yvonne showered me with kisses, I quickly checked my phone to see that Allison had already ended the call. I tried to push her away gently, seething with anger, but she remained adamant.
"What's wrong with you?" she asked, a frown appearing on her face.
"I'm still mad at you, Yvonne," I replied, my tone firm.
Yvonne's frown deepened. "What do you mean? You were the one who was wrong, but I still came back to you. Shouldn't you be glad I'm back?" She asked, reaching out and taking my hand in hers.
