LOVE PARADISE 💕 EPISODE 4

795 Words
LINDA When the door opened, I saw the nurse who had called my mother coming in. "Are you okay my girl, why are you screaming." The nurse asked as she wanted to know what was happening. "Everything is okay, I was having a bad dream." I answered as I was still thinking about the dream. What was the meaning of what Frank said in this dream? I asked myself while I was sleeping. The nurse who was still standing told me not to think too much, I would continue to be sick. After these words she left my room. That's when I finally decided to find the truth. I didn't trust Lucie because my dreams told me that Frank had gone to live in a world where he will never come back. I stayed in the hospital for a few days and then I got out. I felt better even though I still felt dizzy. My mother and Lucie came to pick me up though my father was not around. He had a trip to South Africa. When I arrived, I sat down and watched TV like a person who hadn't seen it in a while. Mother came and sat next to me, but she seemed to have something to say. "So tell me Linda, do you still remember what happened before you were taken to the hospital." I remained silent for some seconds as I was trying to find out where to start from. "Let me tell you what I still remember Mom, I was paying a visit to Lindiwe my bestie when I came across this bus stop after roundabout. That's where I witnessed a horrific accident. A small Subaru was hit by a haulage truck as it burst into flames of fire. This incident happened in my sight and I failed to hold what I saw that's why you saw me lying helpless." I said these words and my mom remained silent for a while. "Tell me the truth Linda, remember you are not the only person who witnessed the incident, many people were there including those who know me. So tell me the whole truth." There was silence again. LINDA'S MOTHER Linda was my last born in a family of three children. Beatrice my first born was in South Africa and Lucie my second born was waiting for her application to be approved at UZ. I was proud of them and I was proud of Linda also who was in her forth year at Kuwadzana 1 high school. My husband was a bus driver and most of the times he was crossing border carrying passengers to South Africa. As for me 1 was a teacher at Cold comfort junior school. The rest on our life is a story for another day. Back to my story I was at home when I received a call from one of my friends who live in Kuwadzana. I was shocked to hear that my daughter had collapsed at the accident scene. I quickly ran to Lucie's room to tell her the bad news. Within minutes we found ourselves in my car rushing to the scene which was less than a kilometer from home. We arrived at the scene and I couldn't explain what I saw. It was a horror indeed. As we were at the place I had someone talking about my daughter. "The girl who fainted just got out of the Subaru then she saw it being hit by a truck and immediately fell down." One of the people who was at the place spoke as if he had seen what happened. I was left with a question in my mind that needed an answer. We carried Linda and took her to the hospital where we used to go to see her. As someone who had some knowledge of what had happened, I said that I should ask Lucie. Here I wanted to know where Linda was coming from and whose car she had just got off from. I already knew that Lucie is familiar with it as someone who had passed through that age. When I asked Lucie, she told me that she had gone to see her friend Lindiwe. Yes, that's the way to Lindiwe's house, but what about the car? I have another question, but I didn't say it when Linda was seen getting out of the car. I tried my best to find out the truth but Lucie didn't tell me. Days passed and Linda finally left the hospital. This is when I had the opportunity to ask my story. That's when she told me she was going to see her friend when she saw this incident. I tried to keep asking but I didn't get a suitable answer.
