LUCIE

I remained silent for a while not knowing whether to tell him or to wait. Frank had been buried for two days and to his grief I was called by his sister. This Frank's home was at Warren park, which is where he used to come from school in Gweru.

His sister already knew the relationship between her brother and Linda and she also knew me. That's what made her call me the day Frank was buried.

Anyway back to my story I remained speechless as I was thinking how to tell Linda that Frank was no more. Since she was still in her road to recovery I would cause a problem so I decided to lie.

"Frank is safe my dear, he escaped with some injuries and he needs some time to recover. As for how you came in hear mom received a call from someone I think it was one of our neighbors who was at the accident scene. You collapsed at the scene and we carried you here. We visited you for a week and we didn't hope you'll be alive again. Anyway I am happy you came back to life." There was silence as I continued to talk.

"But I want to tell you something my dear, mom wants to know more about what happened. I told her you were visiting your friend Lindiwe but she's not believing me." The door was opened and my mom came in so I ended the conversation.

"I hope you had a lot of time to discuss, it's now time to go. Linda stay safe and I wish you a speedy recovery." My mother said as she stood for a while looking at her. We then got out since the nurses had come in telling us it was time up. We got out of the hospital as we headed to our car.

LINDA

Lucie had made me happy by saying that Frank was alive, but I had doubt on her. The way she kept quiet when I started asking her told me that she had hidden something. I believed what she told me but I would know the truth after I got out of the hospital.

Another thing that surprised me was that I had already spent a whole week in the hospital before I woke up. So it only meant that I died and woke up. All I had seen was heavy and I would never expect to see such things again in my entire life.

Another issue that was difficult was the one that Lucie had lastly told me. If mom didn't trust what she said, it was difficult to win the case. The problem was that if I tell her the truth, would it end well? Another issue I was thinking about is what if someone told her that they saw me getting out of the car before this accident.

It was hard to have a suitable answer, but as a person I wouldn't give up. If she was going to press me hard, I would just tell her the truth and it would be over. The only person I was afraid of was my father.

Suddenly I fell asleep. I found myself in a place I have never seen before on this earth. The road I was walking seemed to be golden and the houses in the area were more beautiful than I have ever seen.

"This place is nice and I wish I would be living here." I said in my mind as I admired the buildings in the area.

As I was thinking I saw Frank coming on the other side. He was not happy as usual and he was walking very slow. He continued walking until we get closer. We looked each other in the eyes and no one said a word only eyes were talking.

"I can't change my mind Linda, go on with life and I know you'll find another guy. As for me I'm moving far away." Frank said as I felt his words like a sword in my heart.

"But why Frank what have I done to you? You promised me heaven on earth and you're leaving me like that." I said as I was filled with tears in my eyes.

"That's not my fault Linda, someone called me to a far away place and I was not able to reverse his plan. Please stay safe and everything will be fine." With these words Frank started flying.

I tried to follow but I wasn't able to fly. I followed him running on the ground and I was sure he would land somewhere and I was going to meet him again. As he flied faster I saw him getting in one of the tall buildings.

I then tried to enter the building so that I would meet him to conclude his story. I saw someone standing at the door and I was not allowed to enter the building. I insisted him to open the door but he refused.

As I was still convincing this man someone came out holding a sword. He chased me away from the place as I started running away. I ran faster as he increased his speed also. We ran for kilometers and I was now tired. As I was about to give up I started screaming waking up at the same time. Before I could find out what was happening the door was opened.
