The room felt silent as if time itself had stopped . I knew my life was about to change forever .

As I stood before them , lots of thought was on my mind , ″assuming I did not follow her , assuming I didn't let curiosity take over me ″this wouldn't have happened to me .

As I stood there in shock , I knew I had to come with a plan to protect myself ,my daughter and my reputation.

As I stood there, trying to figure out my revelation of my daughter , I knew I had to think fast . I couldn't let Victoria , Tyson , and Sofia get the upper hands .I had to turn the tables , by using Tyson's secret against him in front of his accomplice .

I looked at Tyson , his eyes still blazing with anger . ″ You know , Tyson , I think it's time we talk about your little secret , ″ I said , a sly smile spreading across my face .

Tyson expression changed , a flicker of unease crossing his face. ″ what are you talking about, Ryder ″? He demanded . I leaned forward, my eyes locked onto his , am talking about the embezzlement of money .

The room felt silent, Victoria's eyes widened in shock . Sofia's face went white. Tyson face turned red with rage ″ how did you …? He spluttered.

I smiled , a sense of satisfaction washing over me . I've been investigating , I have proof and recording of your little scheme .

I pulled out my phone , about to play the recording , ″ I think it's time we got to the bottom of this , don't you ? ″.

Tyson's eyes widened in horror . you wouldn't dare , he spat .

But I just smiled ″oh I dare , I dare because I have the truth with me and am going to expose you ″ . by saying this i already had the upper hand

The recording began , and I started to speak , telling the truth about Tyson embezzlement , and how Victoria was into shady business . I told it all, leaving nothing behind .

As the recording continued , I could see the fear in Tyson's eyes,the desperation, he knew he was done for . his empire was crumbling around him .But just as I was about to say the final piece of evidence, the door burst open , a swarm of FBI surrounded me , I looked surprised !!! Trying to figure out what was happening ,just then an office shouted at me snapping me out of my thoughts . ″ Ryder, you are under arrest for embezzlement of money ″ .

I was shocked , surprised and at the same time trying to put the piece together , as one of the agents was cuffing me, I glanced at Tyson and our eyes clocked together .

He was smiling devilishly with Victoria besides him laughing , that was when it hit me that it was all planned right from start , they used me , on the other hand Sofia was surprised as the police were taking me to cell , because she didn't plan this with them .she just wanted to scoop from the story and get promotion from her boss .

Because this kind of news, with concrete evidence , will surely boost her reputation.When I reached their station , I contacted my lawyer and informed him of what was happening to me . I even informed my coach , Rachel and well wishers .

The news spread like fire , news articles , radio station , TV station were all saying the same ,″ a popular American football player also known as Ryder has been charged with a class E felony ″. My lawyer arrived and went to meet the FBI for an explanation. They told him that I had committed a serious crime , and at the same time showed him proof of transactions I made with different banks with my signature on documents . enough

evidence to pull me down .

Which will lead me to decades of prison sentences and a large sum of fine.My lawyer was shocked because he knows me too well that I can't do such a thing , but he can't do anything at the moment because all evidence is pointing to me .
