Tidal Wave

For the first twelve years of Alyssa Winter’s life it was perfect she had a loving mother and hard working father and two older sisters who were both 17. Then tragedy struck and all her family was taken by a drunk driver after one of her sister sports games. She was the only one who was still alive and at home. And just like that her whole world came crashing down as she answered the door for the cops. They took her to the local orphanage where more trauma and tragedy occurred. She was never treated fairly. The workers label her as a problem child and the other kids bully her. As the time crawls by she becomes different from here usually perky personality. She becomes more of a rebel. After a year has passed she has been there for a year she is now thirteen and convinced no one would wanna adopt a girl with mental baggage. But that is until one day. Austin Winkler from the band Hinder is looking to adopt after his girlfriend has left him. He has always wanted to be a father and could never just find a woman who would stay with him long enough and not want to use him for his money so he decides that he wants to adopt a kid. And he is looking for one that can travel with him when he is on tour with his band Hinder. So he walks into the very orphanage that Alyssa Winter now thirteen is living in her own personal hell. Music has become her only escape from the mental baggage and the feeling of being unwanted. She has brown hair and blue eyes but she always has wanted to dye her hair her favorite color which is blue. And her mom and dad promised he could when she turned thirteen. She is a very quiet girl now after everything and she has taken to wearing all black as a healthy way to cope. She feels the time creeping by slowly. She is often found staring off into space and not responding to the staff when they bother talking to her. This only further solidifies her reputation as the problem kid in the orphanage. She is lover behind the black makeup and dark clothes. Her smile has been hidden behind her trauma and pain along with the guilt she feels about her family’s death. Even though she didnt cause the accident or anything. It is just cause she is so young that she dont understand how she lost her entire family in just a matter of minutes. She don’t know how to react to this loss but she is trying to figure it out all why trying to be adopted in a place that clearly don’t want her there. So she retreats into herself to protect what little bit of her heart that is left after this. She just hopes that she gets to get out of this place before she is eighteen.
