"What do you think about this one?" Kat looks at me as I'm staring at myself in the mirror.  "You look beautiful, Kat. Honestly, you look great in all of them." She sighed, stomping one foot. "You are no help at all." Kat, my best friend, is a brunette beauty. Bright green eyes and a slender body. She makes everything look good so that the tight-fitting purple dress looks as good as the rest.  Looking back at the mirror in front of me, I admire the red dress I've picked out. Hugging my body, it accentuates my curves, making me look like a goddess. The large V neck really gives my breasts their own moment.  "I'm getting this one; I love it." I smile ear to ear. "Good cause, girl, you are smoking hot in it. Every guy is going to want to sleep with you tonight." She raises her hands in the air like she's accomplished victory. "I hope you are getting that one. The purple makes your eyes pop." She giggles, and we head back to the changing rooms to put our clothes back on.   After getting our dresses for the club tonight, we head back to our apartment to get ready. "Hey Abby, I ready hope I nail my audition next week. I'm tired of working in a diner." I give her a comforting smile. "We will both be moving on from our shitty jobs soon, I promise." She smiles back, and we head up to our apartment. It's a small 2 bed 1 bath, but it's not the worst.  I walk into my room and sit on my bed. Closing my eyes, I lay back and take a deep breath enjoying the quiet. I love the big city, but it gives me a headache. I decided to grab the shower before Kat could. It takes me a while to curl my long hair, and I don't want to wait for her. I run into the bathroom and shut the door. "Abigail!! No fair!" I laugh and jump in the shower. After wrapping my hair in my towel, I head to my room and get dressed. Luckily my dress zips up on the side, so I don't need Kat's help. I sit on the floor in front of my floor-length mirror and start to put on my make up. I don't want to be uncomfortable, but I want to look sexy. So I put on a medium coverage foundation, dark smoky eyes, and a red lip. My blue eyes are glowing against the dark eyeshadow and liner. I grab my hairdryer, brush, and curling iron. My long black hair comes to the middle of my back. It gets a bit annoying, and at least once a day, I say I'm going to cut it off. I know I won't, I'll regret it. I met Kate in the living room, all ready to go. She heads over to me with a bottle of jack and gives me a wicked grin. "Let's pregame." I roll my eyes and grab a shot glass. She fills our glasses, and we take two shots back. The burning of the alcohol awakens my senses and excites me for tonight.  The name "Luxurious" displays on the front of the club. It kind of sounds fancy, and there is a line. Great. We quickly get in line, and I reach in my small purse to make sure I have everything. Finally, we are approaching the bouncers, and I'm hoping after I get more alcohol in me, I'll forget my already aching feet. I check my phone, and it's already 10:05 pm.  I notice I have a text from my mom. It makes me smile.  "Your dad and I just want to say; I love you."  Quickly I put my phone back as we reach the front. "Hello ladies, your lucky it's ladies night. Half off drinks, babes." The blonde and very muscular bouncer winks at us and lets us through the door. "Girl, we are going to get smashed!" Kats yelling over the loudspeakers playing club music.  I head over to the bar and order a Long Island iced tea. I take a sip and listen to the music playing as I watch Kat dancing while holding her drink in the air. What am I going to do with her? I laugh to myself, turning and leaning on the bar. I need to get more alcohol in me before I'm going to get all crazy like that.  After finishing my first, I order another and head over to Kat. "Abby, stop being boring and get over here." With that, I chug down my second, which was easier than I thought. I can barely taste the alcohol in these. That in itself makes them dangerous. Kat and I were having so much fun dancing that I didn't realize how drunk I was.  Once the music changed, we stopped dancing, and I had to concentrate on walking normally. Which I am sure didn't look normal to anyone else. On top of being a lightweight, I drank my drinks too fast. I head to the bar to get some water. "Caa-n I get some water?" I yelled to the bartender, and he quickly grabbed me a bottle of water. I decide to stay at the bar for a little longer to drink my water. I lean against the bar and look over at Kat, who talks to a "tall, dark, and handsome" kind of man. Oh well, great, I'm not getting any sleep tonight. I sigh and turn back to the bar.  "Hey there. Why the sad face?"  I turn to find a gorgeous man next to me. "My roommates found a guy, so I'm sure I won't be getting sleep tonight." He starts to laugh. "Well, I might not be able to fix that. Honestly, I'm jealous; I'd like to keep you up all night." He gives me the sexiest smile, and my legs turn to jelly. I'd want to stay up for that.
