Loud Beat
My heart skipped a bit when he said, “Own you.”
I felt my face heating up and I smacked his arms to express my embarrassment. “Stop it. It’s not funny.” I stood up and pouted my lips. “Do you want anything to eat?”
"Bake for me! I want a chocolate cake!" He said like a little kid. His eyes were sparkling and he was beaming.
I smiled because of his cute reaction. “Okay then help me prepare the ingredients and the things that I will use.”
He stood up and held my hand. We walked to the kitchen together. We immediately prepare the ingredients. I couldn’t help but feel the warmth while watching Jace beginning to get busy. I really like this side of him. He was like a kid.
When we finished preparing, I started putting all the ingredients together.
