CHAPTER 2

Bree’s part

Before I get out of the lift I make sure I control my emotions. I do not want anyone to know that I was crying. I walk slowly through the corridor and I meet Patrick; Mia’s fated mate. Sadly to know that Mia does not want to get marked nor mated. She said that her mate is someone else.

“Bree!” I saw Patrick is calling my name from the end of the corridor

“Patrick!!!” My eyes were wide open, full of excitement.

“You move here?”

“Yes Patrick, since last week”

“Ah! Why Mia did not tell me. Well, I am so glad to know that you are moving here. I hope you both can take care of each other”

“Yes. I stay in the shelter at night time. I use her room because she has a night shift this week”

“Why don't you apply to get a room at the shelter?”

“I am not staying in this office for long” Bree tries to calm, in fact, she knows tomorrow she needs to submit her resignation letter. William’s angry face has pushed her to give up. She will come back to the town and stay with Aunty Amelia and Uncle Tom.

“Ah okay. I am also going back to shelter”

Patrick and I are talking during our walk to the shelter.

“Do you remember how crazy our childhood life was?” Patrick started to recall our past life

“Ha...ha… yes I do remember. You scared of dogs”

“Ha… ha… I was hiding behind you” Patrick is laughing. 

“Yes and I was nearly bitten by them” I respond

“Sorry for that” Patrick is looking at me

“Ha… ha… I do not approve any apology”

“Ah okay, your majesty”

“Ha ha ha”

Patrick is two years younger than me and Mia. He was our neighbor. His father and mother were my late mom’s doctors. They are wolf doctors. Well, They can help both wolves and humans. I thought Patrick matches with me, but he is for Mia. I will never think of taking him from Mia. He really loves her. I could see that.

“Why?”

“Ehm… no no… sorry”

“Why do you look at me, Bree?”

“Uuuummmm my brother in law is really handsome Omega” I pinch his right hand

“Bree…”

“Okay… okay… No one knows what we are talking about. Sorry” 

“We do not approve any apology, your majesty”

We are laughing together.

Patrick’s Part

I never think that Bree and Mia are younger than me. I always think that they are my cute girls. I see Bree at the end of the corridor. It seems she is from William’s office. I hope it was not something bad she had dealt with him.

No one knows that Bree and Mia are wolves. Aunty Amelia made me and my family swear that we will never reveal anything about them, for the sake of their security. Also, Aunty Emma told my father that she wants Bree to live as a human. By living as human, it will save her.

Do they know that they are living among wolves; the strongest packs in the southern territory?

Southern Royal pack is the wisest compared to east and west, moreover the north pack; the cruelest ones. The southern territory has hundreds of packs of wolves with hundreds of Alphas, led by one Royal Kleine Pack. We are living peacefully as the Southern wolves. Not only that, but we are also living together with humans, but we never ever allow humans to know who we are, except for the trusted ones. 

Wolves from the East do not compromise with any wolves from other territories, moreover humans. They live peacefully with their own packs. They have strong wolf packs on the border, letting none in. The western territory is more modern. They let humans enter and leave their territory freely. Most of their population are mixed breeds. They are most advanced and get along with human technology very well. Even Though they do not place wolf armies on the borders, no one will disturb them, due to their strong supernatural powers on their land. It is a gift given by the goddess spirit. That’s also why Western territory is also called the Land of Peace. Now let me tell you about the Northern territory. Hufff… the strongest armies and cruelest. They have thousands of packs that fight each other to get their own areas. Different from the western territory, wolves are scared of northern wolves because of their behavior and army powers. 

“Bree” I call her

I saw a beautiful smile. This girl has a radiant smile. I feel comfortable when I am with her. She is our inspiration. 

Before I was 7 years old I was attracted to Bree. She was such a morning sun; warming my inner wolf. Well, I did know that Bree and Mia are wolves, but I swore to my parents to never tell them about it, except if they told me by themselves. My parents asked me about Bree on my 17th birthday. They told me about having Bree as my mate, but we need to wait until Aunty Amelia told Bree and Mia that they are wolves. 

I rejected because when I was 7, I already gave my heart to Mia. The Tragedy in fall 2007 made me think that the world is quite unfair for Mia. That evening Aunty Amelia knocked on our house telling us about what happened to Aunty Gloria. They told me that Aunty Gloria, Bree, and Mia were traveling to the south to visit their relatives. There was an accident.

02.00 am in the morning on the following day. I saw my parents, Aunty Amelia, Uncle Tom had already come back from checking their condition. I saw that they only brought Bree, they did not care about Mia. Mia came back home on her own. Her face clearly showed that she was so scared, her clothes were wet and she was so weak. The only thing I remembered was what they said about Mia “We thought she had died. We did not find her nor her Mother.” 

From that moment, I promise myself that I want to take care of her with all my powers. Mia is a mixed breed, I know it is already difficult for her to accept the reality. Moreover, as a wolf, I knew many wolves staying away from her. Mix breeding gave false signals for pure wolves. They are considered intelligent, but tricky at the same time. I guess this is also why Aunty Amelie and Uncle Tom never wanted any cub. This is also reason wolves in the western territory are super smart and know how to use their intelligence for their own sake. Well, Mixed breed wolves in north and east territories are considered as criminals and traitors. Actually in the southern territory too, but we are considered as the wisest. We never allow such bad words to the mixed breeds.

After all, I can say that living in human territory is the best. We have the same fate to be refugees here. We get along very well without considering from which territories they are. My parents are from the south, Aunty Emelie is from the East,  Aunty Emma and Gloria are from the North territory.

Now Bree is just five steps from me. We are heading to the shelter together. We talked about funny moments in our childhood life. I did not know that she moved to this office. I am glad she is here. Here, most of the employees are wolves. Compared to the main office, the number of wolves here is five times bigger than there. In the main office, we have 80% humans and 20% wolves, but here we have 90% wolves and only 10% are humans. She will find her mate here. Ah I forgot that she is an Alpha daughter. She should marry an Alpha to get her power back. She has been acting as human for these 23 years. Suddenly I am thinking something scary.

Did William find out about who is she???

No! Way!!  No one knows that Bree is a Wolf; an Alpha daughter here. I am worried about Bree.

Bree’s part

We arrived at the shelter at 11.15pm. I stepped in the entrance and I saw Mia there. She is looking at us curiously. 

“Why are you both together?”

“Ah! I meet her on the way I am going here, baby” Patrick quickly respond her

Mia is very dominant and possessive. I think Goddess Spirit wrongly chose Alpha daughter. She should be the alpha daughter, instead of me. I smile bitterly. 

“Ya, I met your soul MATE on the corridor”

“Ah really?”

“Yes. You both please talk a bit. I'll go to the bedroom”

“Today will be my last day of this month doing night shift”

“Ehm… okay… okay. I know. Tomorrow I will move”

“Where?” Mia quickly responded

“On the road!!!” I smirk

Patrick laughed hearing my answer. “You are always cute, Bree!”

“Yes. That’s the best place for you Bree!” Answer Mia jealousy.

“Noted, your highness! Is there any empty shelter?”

“No. All are occupied”

“Even one?”  Patrick was little bit shocked

I know Mia just does not like it if I am lingering between both of them. I saw one or two rooms for human employee are still empty. Well, tomorrow I'll send the resignation letter. I'll come back to Aunty Amelia’s house.

William’s Part

I cannot sleep thinking about her. Jacob said that she is in this shelter. Where is she sleeping?.

I think to link Jacob, but it is already night. He must be having a rest.

Suddenly he is trying to link me.

William, she already entered the shelter.

Is she living here?

Yes, she entered about an hour ago. I just make sure if she goes out or stays. And I am sure she will stay.

How come she is not in the list? I ask Jacob

She was with Patrick

What??? Suddenly I feel strange feeling inside

Emmm.. I do not mean anything Will, but perhaps they live together?

No way! I refuse that she has someone. I want her to be mine. Oh Goddess! What feeling is this?

Should I look for more information?

No no. Have you found out why she is still working in the company?

I called Thomas, he said he will contact you once he is at home.

Okay thanks! Good job Jacob! Thank you!

No problem Will. I live for the Royal pack. You can order me anything.

You are always the best guardian of us. Now have a rest. She must be waiting for you.

I heard Jacob is smiling.

Thanks Will. Good night!

Good night! I unlink with Jacob.

I grab my phone and dial Thomas, Bree’s Manager in the main office.

“Hallo”

“Will, I am sorry I forget to contact you”

“No problem. I just want to know about something”

“Uhmmm… really sorry Will” I can hear that Thomas is scared, but I am feeling better now

“Okay, now tell me”

“What if tomorrow I visit you there and explain everything?”

“Such a great idea!” 

“Sorry Will”

“Okay you should prepare the answer, or else I'll fire you right away”

“Ookayyy” Thomas gets more scared.

I close the call and go to the kitchen to prepare some coffee. Why I hate her, but why I am also feeling strange about Bree. The only logical reason to validate what was happening is that my inner spirit is thirsty for mating. But why Bree? Perhaps it's because she is the only girl who dares to kiss me? No way! I cuddled enough with some humans, but I do not feel this way like I want her!

I cannot imagine how my parents will react if they know what I am feeling. I am also still scared to share this to my personal doctor. I hate how I met Bree, but she is also sweet and cute. My inner spirit really wants to hold her small figures. It must be so amazing to mate with her… Arrghhhh!

Oh! What  I am thinking! Moron!

I take off my shirt and grab cold water to reduce my heat.

Brakkk!!!

I hear something or someone fall down. My senses are always sensitive. It must be outside. Perhaps from my neighbor. I go out and I see someone slipped down. She manages herself to stand up.

Ahhhhhh.... Ehmmmm… awww… It seems she got hurt

Her voice wakes my inner spirit. He urges to go to her.

No!!! Dont come out!!! You were crazy with Bree, now who else?!!!!

Go there, I want to f**k her!

Stupid! I try my best to handle his desires, but it is too late.

This inner spirit makes me run towards her.

"Awww…"

"Are you okay?" I started to ask her. She is wearing white satin, a short sleeping dress. I see her small and cute legs.

Ahhh I feel the heat. I should go after I help her. This inner spirit is crazy! He wants any random girl to fulfill.

"I should not go out. I did not know that the floor was still wet."

"Okay let me help." I offer her help

The light in her front of her room is quite dim. I cannot see her clearly. Suddenly she looks up and our eyes meet.

Ah! What the h**l! She is Bree!

“William” she recognizes me

Without a second thought I picked her up and entered her room.

“No William. It is okay. You can put me down. I I can walk. I I am okay.” She stuttered

I really cannot handle my desire now. I hold her tightly. This heat pushes me to get closer to her face. Bree looks at me. Once again our eyes meet. I kiss her neck and shoulder many times. 

“No Will! Ahhhhh… please no… Emmmhhhh… Ahhhh…” Her voice makes me want to do more.

I put her on the sofa. Her hands are still on my neck. It feels so good. I could feel the excitement.

I kissed her. I really want to eat her and make her mine.

“Will… emmmhhh…” I could see that she is refusing and enjoying at same time

I kissed her even deeper. When she holds my head and plays with my hair while I kiss her, it feels so good. I want this human to be mine. I do not care if she will never be my mate nor my Luna. I want her to always be with me.

I push my chest into her while I am diving kissing her shoulder. I can feel that the n*****s behind her thin satin dress rub against mine. That feels so good.

“Aahhhh Will… ahhhhh… noooo” Bree keeps begging, but I only believe that she is also enjoying.

Suddenly the door is knocked. What the h**l!!! Please go away from us!

“Ahhh Will… eemmmh… it must be my sister” Bree told me

“What?” I look at her. I can see her arousal is slowing down.

“She needs to take something”

“I don’t care!!!” I still cannot handle my heat

“Please… she will be angry to me” She begged

Oh!!! Come on! How can Bree get scared of her own sister? It's also a luck I do not have any sibling.

She jumps and walks to take something from her bedroom. I lay down on the sofa. I'll get back to my room once her sister is gone. My heat is slowing down. It seems my inner spirit feels enough with the foreplay. He is crazy. I am not sure if he is crazy to Bree or crazy to mate.

Bree brings a phone and hands it to her sister outside. I hope her sister will not get in. Well, if she is, then I do not care.

“Are you with someone?”

“Ah no no no… No one is here” Bree lies to her sister.

She locks the room again and walks toward me. I see her face is red because of shyness. 

“Do you want to have a cup of coffee?” She is blushing

“A glass of cold water please. I need to slow down”

“Ahh okay…” She hurriedly ran to her kitchen bring me a glass of water.

“Thanks”

“Umm? For what?”

“For the water” ufff what she is thinking about. She is blushing. It makes her look cuter.

“No problem will” She sits down in the other end of the sofa

“So you live here?”

“No. It is actually my sister’s room. She is General affairs in this shelter. 

“Oh interesting! Your sister is also working for my company”

“Yes. She was the ambassador for one of your product”

“Oh really?”

“Yes… she is a model, but she decided to work in your company…” she started to share about her sister's beauty, intelligence etc. S**t! I don’t care about her sister.

“Bree…”

“Yeah…” She stops talking

“I will wait for your resignation letter tomorrow morning, after our meeting. I heard that you will be the speaker for General Manager on the meeting”

“Eh!” She is shocked to hear what I said. I saw her tears start to flow down her eyes.

I could not explain how scared I will be if I keep her. I start to want her, but it will be difficult. Human and Alpha wolf are nearly impossible to be together. Moreover I am Royal Alpha. I also could not keep her as my slave. That’s too demeaning to her.

“So what was that we were doing..?” She asked the question that I was scared she would be asking.

“Please do not mix our personal and professional matters” 

I tried to make a reason. I just do not want to get prisoned from this feeling for her and I do not want to give false hope to her.
