ALARA’S POV
Thoughts of the things Echo said about my dreams kept me awake almost throughout the night, but I managed to get some rest.
I woke up earlier than any other person in the castle, including the guards who were supposed to be vigilant, and the only thought that came to my mind was to take a walk.
I wasn’t sure where I was going, but the more steps I took, the more it felt like I was walking to someplace where I was going to encounter relief.
I found my steps along the path that led to a beautiful garden where I sat for a very long time. There were so many thoughts going through my mind, but I was still concerned about the dream.
Then I felt my stomach grumble, and I was reminded that I had not tasted anything the previous night. I decided to head back to the castle.
