I was very unpleased as well, watching as Lord Magnus walked slowly toward us, the smile on his face was almost too real to deceive me.
“I was told that you had gone this way, Luna Alara.” He said, the deceptive smile on his face still intact.
“Lord Magnus? I expected you to be in the hall with the King and the others.” Kara said, taking a few steps closer to him.
“Such boring meeting.” Lord Magnus scoffed. “I have become very tired of hearing them speak the same language and deliberate on the same issues every day. I am sure you wouldn’t understand because you are just a bodyguard.”
