At that moment, I knew that Lord Magnus was already getting ahead of me, and the King looked like he believed whatever they were saying to him.
“How did they get into the castle, Kara?” I turned to Kara who was surprised as well. “I thought you said you saw him.”
“I did, Luna Alara. But he must have gone into the castle the time you had spent talking outside.” Kara sounded very convinced, but I was left to wonder if there was any other entrance into the castle.
I looked around, but I couldn’t think of any.
The two elders spoke in whispers, making it very difficult for me to figure out what they were saying.
