I tried as much as I could to understand what Alara was talking about, but nothing she said made sense entirely.
She saw the confusion on my face and smiled. “I know that you are a bit confused, come sit with me.” She led us back to the chair, and I was very eager to hear what she was about to say.
“Lord Magnus believes that you are going to do everything he suggested to you, and that’s what we will continue to make him believe…”
“Okay.” I loved what I heard from Alara even though she had yet to make the main point, but I was patient enough to wait for her to arrive.
“Then all of a sudden, he discovers that the trial is no longer going to take place just like he expected. You will tell him that you are going to set Gaius free…”
