ALARA’S POV
For a long time, I just stood there, eyes on Darius while I hoped that he was going to tell me that he had lied to me about the Elder.
“You are certain of what you just said to me, Darius?” I asked to be certain, and he nodded.
“Why would I lie to you, Alara? Tiara is Gaius’ daughter.” He said with a more louder tone, causing me to gasp in shock.
“Tiara? That’s her name?” I asked with a whisper, and the King nodded again.
“Asher doesn’t seem very happy about this, Alara. He believes that…” The King paused, but I was already paying attention to hear what he was going to say.
“He thinks what?” I asked, but Darius only shook his head with a gloom on his face.
“Tell me what Asher said to you.” I insisted, but Darius shook his head.
