ALARA’S POV
Just like I had hoped, I saw Kara standing close to the door at the passage, and she bowed the moment she saw me.
“Follow me, Kara.” I said, glad that she was there while I started walking out of the castle.
“Where are we going, Luna Alara?” She asked, but I didn’t think that it was wise to tell her when we were close to some of the guards keeping watch in the castle.
At that moment, it was hard for me to trust anyone since I had witnessed everything that had been going on.
It meant that anyone could be the enemy, including Kara.
As soon as the thought crossed my mind, I turned to give her a long look while she tried to keep up with my pace, but I didn’t have any reason not to trust her.
