“Seems as if he’s still is pissed,” Jake said. “If you ask me.”
Tucker was, a decade later, at both Roy and Chad. He was pissed at himself, sometimes, too. But at that moment, he was mostly pissed at frigging RJ. “Call yourself whatever name you want, you’re still an asshole,” Tucker fumed.
He looked over at Zeb and the others. “Take couple of deep breaths,” he told himself. Tucker didn’t want to upset anyone else. He smiled and nodded.
“That smile is faker than some of the plastic trees around here.” Olivia knew him the best out of anyone there.
“No doubt.” Sam would see it, too. Actually, Tucker knew he wasn’t fooling anyone. “But if he needs us, he’ll let us know.”
Will he? Olivia had to wonder.
